Thanks for sharing. I refrain from reading the novel as not to ruin my viewing experience. Mainly because the drama adaptation is almost always different, plus it takes away all suspense since I would already know what’s going to happen. 😀 enjoy!!!

I find ABAY an extremely entertaining drama. I don't even notice how the other couples are taking up screen times. I honestly feel the allotted times per couple is just the right balance. Perhaps I feel this way because in my head, I'm already preempted the show as having 4 couples instead on just the main couples. It's a good ride for me. No complaint, except Zeng Di getting on my nerves sometimes. 😜

No clue and don't care because it's going to happen anyway before ep 40! 😁

He strikes me as someone who would never intentionally go overboard unless necessary. He obviously knows ZD likes him, but he never openly rejected her to make things awkward since they are former classmates and business partners afterall. This time, he made it clear, and I'm so glad he did.

Yes, I felt it too. It's just too amazing. Is she's going to his room? Then is HE going to her room? Finally, did she change her mind and circled back to his room? Waaaahhhh....the suspense....love the director's take on it.

ep 21 ,..Sighh..what's the deal with XYX. I still can't figure him out, just like Li Li can't figure him out. The scriptwriter/director is doing a great job in keeping up the suspense. The dangling the carrot in front of our nose trick is working because I'm curious and bothered at the same time. I really want him to be Mr. Green Flag for Li li.

So happy HT finally made it CLEAR to ZD. He's been trying to save her face, but now it's cutting too close to messing up his chance his JX.

This comment cracks me up! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can't tell some of the men apart, especially XYX and HT's male ASSISTANT for the longest time!! I'm also ethnically Chinese, so it's not like I have "all Asians look alike" syndrome. It further confuses the problem because HT's assistant (not XYX) for the longest time isn't posted on the cast list on MDL. I had to go back to re-watch a few scenes with XYX in the beginning with HT and LiLi, and STILL thought they are two different yet similar men. Not until after a while with the names used and further detective work could I be certain they are the same person. I finally come to the conclusion that I got HT's bff and Li Li's bf confused as two different person because XYX's demeanor is completely different when he's with HT vs. Li Li. 😂😜
