Seems like they both are on a different pace in their relationship and I guess they both need to find a middle ground so they are on same page. At least he those listen to her and understand and hopefully he get it that he need to slow down a little.
So we all speculate SR gonna reject the proposal, but when the production team talk about if they gonna mange to have a secret relationship I think this gonna be the main problem as I feel their parents gonna find out about them in today ep and ep 15 is about them accepting them and then we get a weeding.
Funny people where so negative because of the illness plot and some angst when now we get all fluff that is well earned for our two love birds. ❤️ like they say dealing with all your past demons before starting something new then you can start over with a clean slates.
Rewatching and in ep 9 where we got backstory about SR illness it seems like she was trying to have a brave face in front her ex but then seems like she had a late reaction ending in depression and all her hidden emotions came out. To me it seems like she needed someone that let her cry and express her feelings without being afraid of how the other person would react. Clearly SH is that person for her and a reason why she and her ex would not work out. Not that he is a bad person but she is not herself with him.
In a scenario where SR goes for the event with SH (slaying in her outfit of course), I am expecting a full-blown…
I have a feeling this gonna be a pivotal moment for SR and SH becoming more comfortable with their new relationship as clearly they both feeling some awkwardness in turning from friends to sweethearts, so also comfortable coming out publicly as girlfriend and boyfriend.
I think this revelation about him being her mother foster kid should have been handled earlier as It would have been good seeing him actually opening up to her about who he is on his term, and not having other spring it up on him. this would have deepen their relationship on more equal ground.
I must admit I am worried how they gonna handle the two love line with her two personality as Hyeri is a fragment of Eun ho and sadly Ju yeon gonna get the short end of the stick. But then he maybe gonna end up with Hye yeon as writer have promoted Hyeri and yeon as a first love type of story and often first loves never end up together.
aww, Q found his family as he fast warmed up to Min and Men as he observed their tight brotherly bond. So many people talked about how this was too fluffy, but by 3 ep there is clearly dark elements, but also show the important of human warmth and care as it is light in the dark tunnel of the dark side of humans world.
With every revelations about hidden secrets our leads have kept from each other the closer they becomes and changes in their relationship happens. like years being apart actually ending up bringing them closer and getting the timing right for exploring their hidden feelings for each other.
to be fair, it's labeld as "romance" and "comedy". I don't blame someone who expects "romance" and "comedy" but…
When a problem (in this case health problem) in the relationship comes up it those test the longevity of the relationship and we clearly could see how it did not go well for them in their case. In comparison we could see how the leads relationship have been tested true long distance for years and still when they got together again they fall back into the friendship. Also how they handling this distance between them now is also a great test for them as a romantic couple in the future. We see how both men is different in how they understand SK and how they handle themself in crises.
Clearly SR have bottling up her feelings and always run away from them. So no surprise she is doing it this time, but she gonna have to learn that she can lean on her friends and family. This is something she gonna have to learn to move forward in her life and love.
What the production team said about ep 9 and 10. “In Episodes 9 and 10, which air this week, all of Bae Seok Ryu’s secrets that have been shrouded in mystery thus far will be unveiled. What sorts of things she experienced in the United States, where she had no friends or family, and the incidents that led to her calling off her engagement and quitting her job will all be revealed.”
They went on to tease, “Please stay tuned to find out how Choi Seung Hyo finds out about Bae Seok Ryu’s secret—and what sort of influence it will have on their relationship.”
I think the ring in the preview is probably their last engagement ring and therefor she is trying it out. I feel her ex proposal gonna serve as a closure for their relationship as it do seems like they never got a real ending before she left. This is also gonna make her reflect on her own feeling now toward SH. I think ep 9 and 10 gonna serve as an ending for her past relationship and opening to a new relationship with the friend next door.
Something I think we should just take this as a journey our characters are in to discover themself and grow. It is easy to complain and stuff, but if we just let them tell the story as our main duo dealing with their problems it is more enjoyable. At least we dealing with this before they get together so when they finally becoming couple they gonna be inseparable.
