Realistically, the BL genre does not have a big enough audience and the two leads are relative unknowns. There are very few "Your Name Engraved Herein", and even that only gained global traction after it was picked up by Netflix.
May will be great ... with this release and A Balloon's Landing. Can hardly wait for ABL especially!

I think only episode 10 will be available on April 21st. Episodes 11 and 12 are only available to those who pay a special premium. So episodes 11 and 12 will air the following Saturdays ... April 27th and May 4th.

Just glad that personally, I don't mind spoilers. A good thing because I find it less painful to wait (then binge watch) than the weekly wait ... although I do understand some people enjoy the exquisite pain of "hurts so good" tension of the weekly anticipation.
Still timing when to start binge watch the series to avoid the particular hell of the weekly wait. Feel like the light at the tunnel is almost visible.

Hi! Yes ... I saw "Like Love" a few years ago. I have actually seen a few gay films from China before the ban - and feel the world is has been deprived by what the CCP has done to China's artistic community.
I totally understand the need for actors to promote their series - it is part of their contractual obligations. Interviews where they discuss their role/character, etc. is very interesting. But the fan service where the actors continue their roles offscreen make me squirm. I have never watched any of these "events" but they do show up on my feed even though I don't click on them - just to avoid the algorithm.
Regarding TOOTs ... lol. I have seen the term referred to more than a few times, especially over the past couple of years.
I finally got to binge watched LIBTSTA. So glad I waited. Just so wish Japan and SK would get around to giving us full series - like the straight SK dramas: 16 episodes of 45-60 minutes each. Even 10 or 12 episodes will do - just longer in duration so the storyline and character development can be more fleshed out. Regardless, episode 6 of LIBTSTA was really well written and an emotially satisfying wrap up.

I think the fact that GMMTV has a choke hold on the industry has a lot to do with the loss of quality. The constant, repeat pairings of "shipped" actors is just awful. Frequently because once is enough - for various reasons ... lack of chemistry, predictability, same same, and more same same. All actors want to work but as "artists", it must be horrible to not be able to stretch, to try new roles, to do more than just what a studio wants and what shippers expect. No other country does this "paired up" so relentlessly as Thailand.
It feels degrading that these actors are required to perform fan service - to act like they are a couple off screen. Actors don't owe viewers, or even their most devoted fans, anything more than their best in playing a role. They are entitled to their private life instead of the continuing playacting when filming ends.
Beyond that, because of the glut of mass manufacturing, assembly-line productions, many of the new actors are "discovered" - mostly based on looks - and put in workshops for a few weeks then put in front of a camera. If they are not "shipped" in their first role, many disappear after their one shot at stardom. Then there are the product placements ... so brazen, it sometimes feels like the purpose of the series is to promote the products. The more the story line and script quality disappear, the more gratuitous NC scenes are thrown in. Without the acting talent to carry the emotion, it all just becomes a bunch of gyrating, simulated bad soft porn. So cringing. TOOTs. Got that off my chest ... sorry!

Been waiting for completion of series before starting. Cannot do the weekly thing. Have seen SY on short clips and like him but reading comments, already put off by what the writers have done to his character.

Hi! Have been mainly watching kdramas and have not really been following cdramas. The clips shown on YT are almost always about cheating husbands, scheming mistresses (or wanna-be) and worst of all - victim/doormat "Cinderella" - all giving very poor impressions of one-sided, tropey cdramas. Hidden Love changed all that. Loved LuSi in "I Hear You" and started HL for her but kept coming back for CZY. Wow. His acting ... eyes that don't need a script to convey emotions. It's wonderful to be able to discuss shared passions for HL ... what a great idea! Would be interested if international fans are included. Thanks you.
One of life's greatest unexpected pleasures is to just happen upon a BL series never heard of or read about ... and the find turns out to be a gem that totally blows the roof off any expectations. This series joins the ranks of beloved SK BL series ... To My Star, Long Time No See, Blueming and Where Your Eyes Linger (this last, minus the press-and-hold dead fish kiss).
If the only bad thing that can be said about a series is that it's too short ... that's praise indeed. Far better to leave viewers pleading for more than to give them series that run 45-60 minutes for 12, 16, even 20 episodes that get dropped ... faster than they can say "Checkout", or "Oh, My Sunshine Night", or "Unforgotten Night", or Fahlanruk", etc., etc. Or not started at all.
