The love triangle is annoying me. when does it get resolved i am on episode 4.
Tbh it's not even a major part of the plot and all I can say is this SL is not like other SL and will actually be happy for both main leads

I love how the accident where Sol gets hit by the serial killer's car and drowns in water (in 1st timeline) is now the serial killer's fate because he also gets hit and drowns. It's like Sunjae's fate of saving Sol and dying is in a way transferred to the serial killer because he meets the accident now and the precursor to the chaos is gone. It was nice to see that the serial killer's plan to kill became his own karma. Furthermore, I love how Taesong is intricately connected to this. In the first timeline he was dead and in the second one he was not fully involved in the investigation, but now he becomes the catalyst to break this ill-fated cycle of the main leads. I also appreciate that even though they are each other's destiny, they still express their love and put in the effort to sustain their relationship like any other couple.

Ik its a faux pas on mdl to criticize 'fun' 'silly romcoms because youre ruining it for everybody or whatever…
I think it depends on how one interprets it. Initially, she did have trouble accepting her disability but the show does a great job of showing her acceptance and how she can be happy like anyone else with a disability. I guess you can say that her disability is a plot device but the intent is not mainly to return to a life without disability, it is to SAVE Sunjae's life. She doesn't care much towards the end if she gets disabled or not because it's not even an "issue" to her, what frustrates her is not being able to save Sunjae. Also, the serial killer's plot and Sunjae saving Sol are intricately tied to her life being in danger (car accident or other danger) which means as a repercussion the disability also is part of the domino effect but that's NOT what the show is about. If Sunjae had to be guilty in the first timeline, there has to be a major life-changing incident that happened to Sol which was the disability. I don't think it was to show an abelist perspective. I mean Sunjae still loves her regardless of the disability because he doesn't even think that as a "problem" like some people might (which I don't agree with) instead it's more about not saving her on time that bothers him so much. The job part is not about her getting or not getting into a company, it's about the accessibility and the lack of resources in a work area (which is especially common in small companies). Her disability majorly didn't hinder her dreams because she could have remotely worked but they addressed the work environment which I appreciate. Most people are not accepting of abelist comments or shows, but for this show I never saw it in that light. Disability is just a part of life, not the entirety of someone's life and that's what I saw in his show.

The concept of the show is really novel, but the actual dating aspect is a bit too bland, especially for a show…
You're good! It's because of her long shifts, the PD wanted her to join earlier so the audience can become familiar with her face and what the sibling dynamic is. She did take a few days off but outside that she's still a full-time employee and just joining in middle won't be enough time for her to bond or even know the other cast members.

Since Sol changed the past and they never actually met, the present Seon Jae doesn't know Sol OR he also time…
I agree Sunjae could have time travelled maybe from his future to save present Sol and is acting like he doesn't know her or he's falling for her again like its his destiny and will regain his memories. There's no way whatever happened from 1-12 will be meaningless.

I actually liked this episode even with its loop holes (which I think will get hopefully solved by next eps) because Sol's entire mission was to save Sunjae and it took her multiple attempts to figure out why Sunjae dies and how to exactly save him. I think after those 3 attempts, the watch reset to before their encounter so she was able to avoid him and thus save him. I am not sure if Sunjae is acting in the present timeline or actually doesn't remember her yet. However, even if it's the latter it just shows that Sunjae inevitably falls for every version of Sol in every timeline. He said it in words in ep 11 that he doesn't care if she's present or future Sol and this ep and the next one potentially prove that AND THE FACT THEY BOTH WAITED FOR E/O FOR 15 YRS!!!. I also think he will start falling for her and recover his memories in that process, so all the memories won't be just one-sided. I am also intrigued that Taesung doesn't question in mind why Sol says she misses Sunjae when she changed the past and they were not really on close or even knowing terms (unless Sol told him she's from the future even in that timeline, it will get resolved in future eps or he also time travels). I appreciate the writer showing a realistic portrayal of death, loss and grief. It made sense that Sunjae made the choice to face death for Sol like she would've done and I liked how in present timeline she resumes normal life and tries to move on but that's not possible for Sol. She will always gravitate towards Sunjae. I also don't understand why people think these 2 can communicate with each other and come up with a plan to fight the serial killer because even the cops can't do that. These two will always sacrifice their lives for each other and that will happen because one of them will try to attack/catch the culprit and eventually die. The serial killer is definitely working for someone else, has someone inside the police station or time travels because even if they come up with a plan it seems like he will mostly have the upperhand. Overall, this plot needs to be explored more in later eps but I actually liked this ep because it was true to their characterization.

I like the YH-YJ, JW-JH & SS-JS ship but my concern is that all these pairs seem like an "only option" for the…
SS has all this false hope because JS never communicated his level of feelings for her. From the start, he gave signals like she's the one and never went back to inform her that he's starting to get interested in others. So, without the proper closure Sesung has no other choice except to bank on that false hope. Now, she's starting to question it and even though she really likes him, she also takes a step back at times to understand JS's level of feelings towards her (which I appreciate). I don't think she was truly interested in YW. Even during the date, they seemed as just friends from both sides. However, after she found out about JS's deep interest in getting to know others, she's comparing him with other members and realizes that YW's assurance to CCH was missing in her connection with JS. I guess the YW thing doesn't apply much now.

From what I have seen from the korean chat forums, Choa and Cheolhyun were not last minute additions but yes they were supposed to enter later in the show. However, because of Choa's job it would have been hard to get screentime if she joined in the middle so they switched the order. That's why Jiwon and Yunjae join later even though they were originally supposed to join in ep 1.

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I'm frustrated at this point. Wooseok, Hyesoo and Gyeonhee…
She can’t tell Taesung or his father about future events because if she spoils them then the time stops. She did ask for his dad’s help to the best of her ability without telling them the future events. Also, she can only ask so much because his dad won’t believe she’s from future. She doesn’t want to fully implicate Taesung too because he’s young and also had bad things happen to him in first timeline. She’s acting coy which I get because he’s only 20 and it looks like it’s her first time too. I did think the father’s scenes were filler but I guess they wanted to show them as having a decent relationship as neighbors and also as a way to show that they’ll support their relationship. In a way, it’s nice that the parents mended their relationship without their kids’ involvement.

1. The first timeline Sol didn't know that he was murdered, by second she understood that. Now that she knows…
just because nothing happened in the earlier timelines doesn't mean that she will always be alive in the future. If she risks her life without having anyone to save her like Sunjae in past timelines, then she will be dead in the future because she's actively changing the past. I think Sol is ready to accepT her fate even death if that's what can save Sunjae. She definitely knows that she won't be completely save (or even survive) but she's ready to forgo it for Sunjae's life.

Chill chingu. It was 2009 so I think it is acceptable that way.
I don't agree with you. In most Asian households, people don't openly talk about especially when you are introducing your partner for the first time to the parents. The problem wasn't the guy having 2-3 condomns but the entire bag of it. It gives off the vibe that the person is a "player" (doesn't necessarily have to be true but for first impression definitely not a good thing). They are also not celebrating just because of it. It's because of the complex relationship between their parents and these misunderstandings made it harder to get their approval. So, resolving the misunderstandings means their parents would most likely be supportive of them dating each other. Most Asian kids do highly value their parents' views/approval of relationships (at least a 15 yrs ago)

This ep ML figures everything out and they start dating. There's sufficient screentime to understand SL's dynamic with the ML and FL and his potential connection to solving/saving them from the crime. I think they really spent a lot of time past 2 eps to provide info on the status of investigation and how the culprit is involved. Furthermore, ML knows FL is from the future and is able to understand her torment/helplessness to save him in future. I think all the critiques you mentioned were answered to a certain extent in recept eps. The disconnect between them is because of the time travel which is now resolved. Also, if you don't like something, it's okay to have that feeling. Why do you hate it though? It's your opinion, but it seems so silly to me.

Is it better to wait for all 16 eps and binge it or should I try to catch up now?
I usually bingewatch my shows, but it feels so much more special when you watch this show while it airs. The cliffhangers and the entire eps are so beautiful. Personally, I love watching the eps on Monday and Tuesdays and reminiscing them throughout the week. There are so many minute details and scenes that you can fully enjoy over the week and it's also fun to come up with theories for this drama.

Why did the taxi driver kidnap her in the first place, in BOTH timelines? Was he just being a creep preying on…
He seems like a serial killer. It could be that he surveys and finds certain type of victims in to execute his "perfection". She could have been one of his first victims. If that's the case, then there's a possibility to not find other victims yet. I think he runs over because he hates her guts to escape and defy him. So, if he can't execute his murder the next best thing is to kill/punish her in another way. It's confusing though especially regarding the timeline of 14 yrs vs 15 yrs and what's the dude's motive.

I think Sesung would not have even fallen this deep if Junsub didn't initially lead her on. He kept on giving her presents, got jealous because she hungout with a guy and wanted to go on dates with her. Those are some bf things not for a simple fling. He made her think that he chose her because she was the one, and then after his interest started fading he claimed it's too early and he wants to know others. He should've been transparent about his level of feelings from the start. Even after his feelings fade, he never confronts Sesung and lets her know his honest feelings. That's just selfish because he wants her as a backup which is why he also sends text to her after he gets "rejected" by Choa. If he would have talked with Sesung, she could have moved on by now too. Now, Sesung can only compare things he's done with others and with her and still feel that slight hope because of the interactions they had (which is getting destroyed in this and prob next ep). So proud of Sesung for choosing None today!!

Jiangyi is different in the present compared to the past because he feels like his feelings were never reciprocated. On top of that, his crush/love presumably liked their best friend (I know she had her reasons). We have seen Jianyi do a lot of things in the past that were clear actions showing how he treated her special compared to the other girls in the friend group, however I do not think FL's actions towards him have shown her feelings to that extent. ML left behind his entire friendgroup and also was heartbroken and felt no one was on his side when he was going abroad. So, I completely understand why he is afraid to open up and be vulnerable now in front of the FL and also other friends. His actions are frustating but also the FL's and no matter how much I try to understand her intentions, I feel like even now she does not prioritize conveying her feelings and that only makes the ML insecure. She doesn't have to stick to him 24/7 but at least show via actions in that limited time with him that you romantically care for him like he does (he helps look for the friend's dad even when he's busy, is always there for her, brings her soup when she's sick, tries to fulfill all her requests, etc). She also says she's just an admirer of the writer, but her actions from a 3rd person POV seem like she likes him (I know she feels for the guy because he wants to end his life but the ML doesn't know that). She repetitively puts the author first and Jiangyi feels like he's been replaced. He thinks they cannot return to how they used to be. I feel for him because he just doesn't want to lose everything as he's still recovering from his past heartbreak. At first glance, Jiangyi seems like a boring character but with everything that happened I can see why he's so hesistant to share his feelings. He's literally been living like a shell.
