So excited to see Park Soo Jin! I really don't care if she's not exactly the female lead, as long as she gets to play a different character from her usual roles.

Title What's Up?
This drama is criminally underrated. Every episode and character got to me, in so many different ways. It may be similar to other dramas because it has a group of kids who explore their dreams, but I can tell you that What's Up should stand as its own thing. It's amazingly written and acted. 10/10.

There's a bad guy I rooted for: Jo Min-woo from Giant. He did a lot of bad stuff (a lot), he was arrogant, daddy's boy, questionable morals, evil machinations, etc - but I found myself rooting for him to find happiness.

About the "Missing You" part, Jung Woo really had 0 fault on what happened, and he didn't leave her…
Not to mention the fact that Hyung-joon forced himself on her and threw her to the ground after she rejected him, among many other creepy things he did. I've had my share of rooting for bad guys, but Hyung-joon is definitely one I can't cheer for.

Yep! Any korean drama before, lets say, 2007 - the clothes are horrible. The (combination of) colours, the shapes, the hairdos, yes! I get over it after a couple of episodes, but I had to laugh at Rain's outfits on the first few episodes of Full House.

Fun article :) The clothes really depend on the year that the drama was made - the early 2000's dramas have such horrible fashion (by today's standards) that it's a bit hard to get over it at first :D

No, the baker guy is paired up with Soon Shin's older sister. They are cute too. He just gets himself into such embarassing situations (poor guy :D). JJS's character is an entertainment producer.

The main OTP (IU and Jo Jung-seok) are ADORABLE. They are still in the early stages of their development, but they're definitely my favourite thing about the drama :)

YTBLSS is a very cute family drama. It's heartwarming but it knows how to be serious and to make us care. I'm really enjoying it so far :) I don't know if you enjoy long family dramas, but this one so far is definitely worth the watch.

The Love Theme from Arang and the Magistrate is absolutely beautiful. I love Hana Yori Dango's soundtrack too, especially Cloudy Noon and Tsukuchi's theme. Great article, btw :)

Definitely! And it was so refreshing to see her getting angry at him right on the first episode, too. She still has the good old crush on him that we know and love, but at the same time she doesn't close her eyes at his arrogant behaviour :)

Side couples are really the answer to those awful and tiring love triangles. Why have a triangle when you can have a love square? It's way more fun when the second leads get something else to do (you know, have their own lives too!) other than suffering and go after the leads and then end up alone. This, of course, on dramas that have romance as the central plot.

Hi :) Yes, I love those types of stories myself, where the hero gets to write his own path and eventually proves everyone wrong. Oh another sageuk: have you seen Empress Chun Chu? Do you rec it? :)

I understand your point of view, yet she can show desperation/fear without having to scream out loud, or do things in an aggressive way. Sometimes desperation does not equal an hysterical reaction, imo :)

Aw yeah you're probably right, but I have a liiitle bit of hope that this family will make it :) (maybe I'm being naive, but still!).

I haven't seen them all, but Couple or Trouble is my favourite of them so far. I really want to check Hong Gil Dong too. I find You're Beautiful and My Girl a little overrated, but they are enjoyable still.
