I thought it was only my second time watching Choi Dae Hoon (who plays Son Gyeong Un). First time was in When Life Gives You Tangerines. In fact I forgot I had seen him in Uprising, Decision to Leave and CLOY. Anyway, it didn’t register maybe. My fault. But he is just so good here. His comic timing is on point. I love what he’s doing with his character.
she is the type of woman that has no female friends . only male friends or ex s . she is a woman hunter . she…
But I can’t root for that. I love women. I support women to choose whatever they want to do with their lives, pursue all happinesses that are available for a human to enjoy. But I can’t root for this sickness. I know the guy is in an unhappy abusive marriage that is like the arranged marriage of consolidating business alliance and power, but he in the end walked that aisle. He continues to be married to a woman who doesn’t uphold her matrimonial vows etc etc etc. I mean, it’s a cushion embedded by the writer for the viewers to cut him slack when and if he strays, giving his character somewhat of a grey shade. It’s just that. But I am gonna zero in on the secretary. It’s not a grey character. It’s just a bad character.
