Is the prince just gonna huff and puff and not throw the whole bunch of conspirators into disarray?! Like dude you’re sitting on evidence. Make your damn move. Step on the baby king if you have to. Why are we wasting my damn time huffing and puffing here?!!

I'm not a big fan of Gong Myung, but I don't see anyone more suitable for this role than him.
And he/she continues patting themselves on the head. 😂 (Shrugs)

I did explain the correlation. But you missed it, or perhaps it missed you. So I will spell it out for you now in plain English:

People from third-world countries have a very simplistic and unrefined approach to other people's opinions. Countries where democratic values are still in that under-a-century infancy, tend to exhibit this antagonism (that you are displaying) towards opinions where they start throwing their toys out of the crib in an infantile tantrum as soon as they come across an opinion or idea that is contrary to their held beliefs/opinions. They take it personally, they resort to discourteous discourse, almost frothing at the mouth, even so far as saying "leave this space since you don't like it" or "your opinion is illogical" and "you must hail from this camp or that". And for dramatic effect, make wild assumptions about the opposition while white-knuckling through "my opinion is on your opinion that I don't agree with. But mine is logical and yours isn't". It's a very...third-world posturing.

So, as "someone who doesn't want their eyes to be accosted by my childish nonsense" and wanting to save yourself from "having to read unnecessary hogwash," you could choose to move on. Instead, you decided to do this dance of just driving your heels in while also patting yourself on the back on this ChatGPT-drafted rant. You can keep doing that dance. But it's not about you, nor for you.

No one here is proselytizing you to agree with them. It is not about you. Nor will it ever be.

You said you're "not sure what the correlation is between finding your opinion unnecessarily nasty and obviously biased and coming from a third-world country".

Well, let me tell you what the correlation is. Your engagement in reacting to an opinion on an open forum, you deem as "asinine", "whiny", "bitter", and "pointless", that was not directed at you. But you still decided to make it about yourself and the offence you took from it, to the extent that you became asinine and whiny and took it upon yourself to suggest that I should stop watching it, so "that would save us (you) from being tortured" by my opinion. Who the hell are you? What makes you think I will stop watching the show and sharing my opinions here at your behest? And what makes you think that your freedom to be whiny and asinine in your opinions supersedes mine? 🤡

As I said, evolve a little beyond your third-world country sensibilities, as that would save you from being bitterly tortured by someone’s opinion that is not about you nor for you. You reek of it, but since your olfactory fatigue has set in. You're neither able to see the correlation nor see the irony in your own bitter fulminations. Childish impulse, ain't it? 😂

Now to the groundless "assumptions" you have made (another tendency common in those from third world countries) that I "didn't want him (Gong Myung) to be the ML and were likely hoping he wouldn't be good at it." I never said that. I literally said, "Gong Myung is the most suitable to play this clownish male lead role". But I guess unsubstantiated assumptions, bordering on a narcissitic impulse to force your absurdities on others even in the face of declared viewpoints is what is common where you're from. 😂

Do you wake up in the morning thinking all 8 billion humans on the planet will agree with each other, most of all with you? Cos it sounds like you are from some third world country where having an opinion is a fault. Or a case of “bitterness” or personal animosity. 😂 just as no one is forcing me to subject myself to Gong Myung’s mediocrity, no one is forcing you to interact with my opinion. Or are you just bitter that it doesn’t agree with yours? Evolve a little. MDL is a democratic space. People will have opinions, strong and soft. Hot and cold. They are not in service of your attention. Evolve a little out of your third world country sensibilities as that would save you from being bitterly tortured by someone’s opinion. 🤡

Botox is amazing. Don’t get me wrong. I love it. Don’t overdo the units and get an expert who knows their shit to inject and it’s perfect.

I don’t disagree with the point that Gong Myung is the most suitable to play this clownish male lead role. I never insinuated that Kim Jaeuck should have had that role. What I did say was, Gong Myung is mid AF. The second lead is totally upstaging him with only his presence. Imagine if he had more depth and screen time to his character.

Kim Jae-uck is actually one of the few K-Actors who hasn’t had plastic surgery. Someone posted comparative pics…
Botox is evident. Botox can have that affect where something feels off but not really.

Woo Do Hwan also hasn’t had anything done. He’s just lost a lot of his early twenties weight, fixed his teeth (via Invisalign. Braces don’t have that finish), and Botox. Don’t tell me I don’t know this for sure. I know it cos I’ve done it. 😂 if you can afford to look much more attractive, do it. It helps with your economic status for sure.

ikr....like what is it called if someone in less powerful than you harasses you sexually...is that not sexual…
Legally yes it is sexual harassment. In workplace, the guy needs to discipline her on record and involve HR immediately to avoid claims of abuse of power. But since all her actions are off the record and the complainant will be the only witness as well as the complainant and direct supervisor, if she chooses to deny the allegations in a show cause meeting, the company is in a bind. These compliance investigations are tricky AF. But it’s grounds for immediate termination post investigation. But the boss has made the situation even more complicated by letting her stay at his privately owned real estate. He risks losing his job too, where he’s also an owner through stock ownership and holds executive position. At the very least he gets official reprimand.

You know what, the secretary’s character is very troublesome for me. Lol

I swear to God! It’s just so out of line on so many levels. Like damn! It’s so unprofessional and so disturbing. It’s sexual harassment. The balance of power is so lopsided here. It’s Me effing Too pressure cooking. And girl, don’t you have some self respect. He’s your boss. Married. Who cares if he’s morose and tormented by it. Stick to your job. It’s so bad. It’s so bad 🥶🥶🥶🥶

Kim Jaeuck in his prime was something else. But Kim Jaeuck in present day is something else too. 🤌🏻 Hallelujah, Lord Almighty!

I mean, to this day, there is no one who tops that posh and decadent Mo Tae Gu in terms of nailing that Chaebol look who also happens to be a psychopath. So many have played that tropey psychopath character. But no one tops Mo Tae Gu. Although his total screen time was probably 20-30 minutes in that whole 16 episodes series.

Anyway, I digress. Here he just has that gravity to him. It’s such a shame that he is SML. And the writing of his character is a roll call of tropes.

I honestly would love to see him in political dramas, or a slice of life existential piece, or artsy melodramas. Historical romance. I mean, I don’t know. Give me something like The Last Samurai. Break my heart, I don’t care. But give him a role that’s mature and deep.

The male lead, Gong Myung, is so mid. lol damn. I can’t believe someone thought he was male lead material. When he stands next to Kim Jaeuck I’m struck by how … snivelling and frivolous and diluted he is not just as a character (which is written to be that way), but also his screen presence. Utterly forgettable. Glaringly plastered across the screen like a torture device. Just mid.

He does look a lot like IU’s secretary girl in Perfect Crown (Lee Yeon). They could be twins. Or maybe they just have the same cosmetologist.

Also, what the hell is that orangey hair.

Damn, this guy is a nonstarter.
