I think the reason we/some complain about the editing here is because we just want all the episodes to be perfect. So if one of them seems unbalanced, we point it out. The complaint is not necessarily directed explicitly towards the creators. It can be a general whining. At least that's how it is in my case π
I love TTEOTM, will definitely watch it more than once and give it a high score (because I'm too biased to do otherwise). But can still complain on the way π

All the stories can be serious and emotionally heavy, depending on one's sensitivity. There are some touching, beautiful and cheerful moments, alongside the sad and traumatic ones. Other episodes outline the problems such as ptsd, poverty, financial struggle, eating disorder, cancer, miscarriage, rape, sexual slavery, cyber bullying. As for the afterlife plot, we get some glimpses of how the agency works, and learn among other things, how suiciders are being punished for their actions and why the FL wants to save them. The last couple of episodes show the FL story. Drama has a satisfying ending imho. Actions have consequences and things are wrapped up nicely. The bullies from episode 1 got their lesson in episode 2.
