wasnt there supposed to be an episode today alongside yesterdays 2 see in episode list one dated for the 8th
I dom't know, i'm a bit confused with the releases. I just check the app. I think mdl is counting the parts as separate episodes. S3 on the app i think went to ep 10 but divided in multiple parts.
This is good.. I hope good wom will bring more people to watch the movie..btw do you know what is cost of production…
Maoyan has a calculator based on visitors, daily sales etc. The prevision is currently at 208M rmb, it could increase if the next weekend sales surge or decrease if there is a huge drop. The calculations are usually right. We Girls need to reach their goal before May 1st because the heavyweights will be released.
I feel like Ling Tian is going with the flow, but i don't feel spark with anyone. She is a funny person and talks well with everyone and i just feel friends vibes.
She has few dramas but she starred in some movies last year. They are all eng subbed on dailymotion : Article 20 (support), Tiger Wolf Road ( Fl), and The Unseen Sister (FL).
Is that the song they briefly sang during the premiere?
I didn't watch the premiere, only followedcthe news, so not sure if they sang. I know the song because of Sisters Who Make Waves. Chen Haoyu did a cover that was popular last year. The original singer has an unique voice.

No, its Labor day a very important holiday in China. Its usually 4 days, there is Youth day on may 4rth. There are a couple festivals like Laba, Dragon Boat but they are not usually holidays or just 1 day. October its the republic founding celebration. Actually on paper, i think the 3 big holidays ( new year, may, october) are only 3 days , but most companies extend them to a week for travels. Most workers in China don't have big vacations, so these national holidays are the times they get to rest. If it was high budget they would screened it in May holidays with bigger public. Chinese cinema has been pretty dead in periods other than national holidays. High budget movies these days are reserved for chinese new year, may holidays and october holidays.

The director is famous but the movie is relatively low budget. Hollywood movie like Anora for example cost 6M usd, so its possible to produce in this budget range. But marketing and screening slots would double the cost. Barbie,a high budget movie, cost 145M to make with 150M spent just on marketing. By reviews online about We Girls, i think the cost its in the 25M - 35M rmb range could go to 50M rmb total, which is still a very modest budget. So reaching 150M is the goal.

The director said it was 15M rmb, which i honestly don't believe, they tend to downplay costs. Even if production was 15M, marketing and salaries would add more. For a movie to break even they need to make 3 times their total budget. Some data bloggers think to make money it needs to reach 150M rmb.
