Lmao what. it was one of the worst ones I've ever watched. I gave it 6/10 and the ONLY reason was the story between Sarut and Jiwatdee. They got like 1% of screentime but I literally skipped the entire series for them. Like why tf would the fl marry another guy, and say yes to sleeping with him while being in love with his brother? I hate triangles and this was my worst nightmare. Ugh and just when the husband and fl were getting along they decided to kill him randomly? What? Everything was a joke lmao. They literally just relied on actors' visuals and skinship to carry the show tch tch.
The way this was so so so brilliantly amazing 10/10. And no this is not my first lakorn and ive watched hundreds of asian dramas.
I knew about this show for years but i never tried it because I was like "No way i can accept romance between fiancee killer". And o boy not anymore. Ive watched it twice already.
Since the beginning i could feel like the sparks between Jeerawat and Sathit. Maybe from the way he aggressively called her "JeeRRAwAAt" or how he would semi gently grab her shoulders and push her against the wall. Im not romantacising hate but someone on mdl called this couple as "soulmates who met in the worst possible way" and i cant stop thinking about it now.
Like the theme song "The more I restrain my heart, the more it wants it you" it was AMAZING to see how the pair slowly started developing unnamed feelings towards towards each other. I noticed how Sathits gaze changed so slightly in every episode he got to know Jee better. Some people talk about how the ML cannot be forgiven because he forced her to near death situations multiple times. HOWEVER he also always was the one to save her from those situations. Pushed it water, he saved her back. When she almost fell of the building for the phone, he was thr one to hold her.
My faborite line from this was when Sathit was like " I wont leave you". "We have so much bad karma together, we have to stay tigether to repay it for a long time". Lmao that was such a dark pick up line.
Definitely and amazing watch. I literally love Jee and Yaya and Sathit as Mark. Literally no words.
cuz it was for revenge and not love. even though they both love each other fl gave herself as a reparation? idk…
Yeah he wished he did that from love but they ended up doing it as a bribe to concela the evidence. Like he was supposed to sleep with Jee to step on her dignity and get revenhe for Tiw but he really did it because he liked her
10/10the REAL REAL enemies to lovers trope, highly recommended for anyone who loves this trope like me, mark yaya’s…
SO TRUE. Like Sathit's gaze towards Jee in the beginning vs in the end. Everything was brilliant. Didnt feel forced at all. I cant stop rewatching it 😭
Your article is so related to me right now. Got bored with C & K dramas and end up with lots of lakorn. Started…
SAMMME. I watched Kleun Cheewit and literally couldn't stop thinking about Mark Prin. So I started my husband-in-law and BOOM. I think Mark is even more hotter now 😭
I seriously do not get why this is a 7.8. Literally a 9.5/10 for me and I have watched hundreds of dramas. A perfect mix of romance, action, comedy, melo, and career life. It kinda gives me Itazura Na Kiss vibes but with a more emotionally available ML and more drama. Literally do not hesitate to watch it literally finished it in 2 days!!!
This was so beautiful omg. Loved every SECOND of this drama. Even the small storylines like the one with Aaron Yan as A' Bu and Chun Mei. All the scenes were so natural and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of too much makeup or beauty filters. This drama really makes me wanna visit Taiwan. I'll be Christine lmao. If I could choose one drama to be my real life, this would be it for sure. Especially this Taiwanese version. I love Taiwan dramas man 💖
High expectations for this after watching Alchemy. PHS's last historical was Hwarang?? Damnn we've come a long way. That was the first kdrama I watched.
Finished watching it 2nd time lmao. Marriage first trope will ALWAYS be my favorite. All the characters were so beautifully written. From the first time Bu Yeon and Jang Uk met, he couldn't reject her for anything <3. I really need for husband-wife chemistry dramas
it was funny and good from the start, but still it seems that ending was rushed. There was lot of useless scenes…
Exactly. i mean this is an overall K-drama problem I think. Besides WWW Secretary Kim and other similar shows, I think the romance arc always gets a rushed ending.
Yes, all the characters lived and all but THE LEADS HAD 1 MINUTE TOGETHER IN TEH END AND THAT WAS IT. Did I miss…
Watch it for the characters, OST, CGI, and overall plot. It was a bit lacking on romance but S2 started strong on romance. It went downhill but still worth it.
Yes, all the characters lived and all but THE LEADS HAD 1 MINUTE TOGETHER IN TEH END AND THAT WAS IT. Did I miss smth or the romance ending was so meh and anticlimactic? I love Lee Jae Wook though, since Extraordinary You in 2019.
