OK, I guess maybe you are correct and she really is another evil queen mother… unless the former king is actually alive and faked his own death just to get away from her!

In this universe the prime minister is not elected democratically, but is appointed by the king from one of the noble families. Min Jeong-u (the 2ML) was preceded by his father and grandfather in this position.

This drama has the same amount of time to resolve all the plot layers as does a typical 16-ep series. There are fewer act breaks, but each of the 12 episodes are longer in duration.

The character description for Grand Prince Yi An implies that he may indeed die. Notice in the Biographical Information in the sidebar, you must 'Tap to reveal' his Status to see whether he is alive or dead!

I agree. My big complaint in HdL was that her acting was eclipsed by her wardrobe. And now it's the other way around—IMO, her acting has greatly improved. (I did however very much enjoy seeing her strut in that yellow nipple shirt. Rawr!)

I agree the pacing might be improved if we got 16 slightly-shorter episodes instead of 12 long ones.

Bugatti doesn't care about product placement. Showing some nefarious villain somehow hacked the brake pedal into a second gas pedal won't diminish their sales in the slightest.

I was referring to the report that she before she ever drank she had made arrangements to not drive but—after she was inebriated—KSH (via telephone) and the restaurant owner (in person) cajoled her to move her car when there was no driver available. Something along those lines. I don't keep a library of links as you do and don't feel like researching for it now. But anyway, I was left with the sense that there was something fishy about the circumstances which led up to the incident.

I care about poor KSR, may she rest in peace! May the truth come out so that her spirit might do so (find peace).
I also empathize with her bereaved family & friends.

"Star Hyun" (using the actor's own words from his tearful press performance) is dead. His brand is dead. Maybe human Hyun can find (or has found) new life, but it should be kept far away from the public eye. Maybe he can write an autobiography about his experience. I sincerely hope he takes this opportunity to harvest a ton of personal insights, as well as emotional & spiritual growth.

I post my opinions only. Whether they are actual-factual is not something I can confirm. The media lies. Politicians lie. This is an anonymous forum—anyone who comes here seeking actual facts should know to maintain healthy skepticism.

It is reasonable to speculate that KSH has been prescribed sedatives, and it is not unreasonable to further that his angst persists despite medication (hence the stronger doses allegation.)

The FL never even considered her dear friend 2ML as a marriage candidate back in ep 1. He isn't even on her radar as a potential mate, despite him being above her status and checking all the boxes (she had at that time). I don't think he stands a chance to woo her.

As long as the monarchy is dissolved by ep 12, I'm fine with it!
