I think it's overrated drama it just looks like a cooking show with similar story line just predictible script.
You have a right to your opinion. Others share your sentiment. Also, it is reasonable to acknowledge that a very large number of people have enjoyed this production very much, and more will assuredly follow as a result of word-of-mouth and the publicity resulting from its high ratings.

Fans of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty may want to check out Yoona's recent guest appearances on the K-Reality show, "Chef & My Refrigerator" (Netflix). This is a fun cooking show where chefs compete in 15-minute rounds using ingredients found in the celebrity guests' personal refrigerators, which are delivered to the studio.

Actress Lim Yoon A was a guest in two recent episodes where she discussed her own cooking skills and her preparations for her role in Bon Appetit, Your Majesty (episodes 33 & 34.)

Finally! My sister who has been obsessed with Food Network for the last 15 years has been pulled into KDramas…
You both might also appreciate watching the K-Reality show, "Chef & My Refrigerator" (also on Netflix). This is a fun cooking show where chefs compete in 15-minute rounds using ingredients found in the celebrity guests' personal refrigerators, which are delivered to the studio.

Also, many of the chefs were also featured on last year's popular Netflix K-reality cooking show, Culinary Class Wars, which will be returning soon for another season.

Not first and not last person leaving that rotten company.
What's sad is seeing the artists' being trapped by their contracts. Gold Medalist should release anyone who wishes to leave, rather than allow them to be tainted by Lee Ryang & Kim Soo Hyun's scandals! But of course, this will never happen because these sociopaths' only concern is for themselves.

Because the original Network is tvN which broadcasts the episodes weekly, before Netflix is allowed to stream…
I just learned that Lee Chae Min's former agency is accused—among other crimes—of embezzling its artists' wages! LCM was with Gold Medalist (owned & run by the family of falling star Kim Soo Hyun) up until three days before BAYM premiered. I trust the actor's new agency, VARO Entertainment, will take much better care of him.

I recall this recent article:https://www.koreaboo.com/news/kim-soo-hyun-gold-medalist-agency-weird-finances-accounting-suspicious/
Whoa! Gold Medalist embezzled its actors' earnings?!?! Also, Gold Medalist has a fake paper cutout ownership company? This smells like fraud!

Weird too that sasaengs’ “browsing” don’t share this news:https://www.koreaboo.com/news/kim-soo-hyun-gold-medalist-agency-weird-finances-accounting-suspicious/
Weird also that not one of KSH's defenders replied to this post!
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Sep 28, 2025
Lee Chae Min's former agency Gold Medalist is alleged to have embezzled much of the wages and royalties due to its artists.

On August 20, 2025, his exclusive contract with Gold Medalist ended. That same day, he signed an exclusive contract with VARO Entertainment. Bon Appetit, Your Majesty premiered three days later, on August 23, 2025.

Gold Medalist is mired in multiple scandals related to falling star, company frontman & part-owner Kim Soo Hyun (Marry My Husband) and CEO Lee Ro Be (aka Lee Ryang, KSH's half-brother, who is also dealing with scandals of his own), it appears likely that Lee Chae Min may never recover the back pay and royalties owed to him.

It was good to see on Lee Chae Min's page that the actor left Gold Medalist for VARO when his contract expired last month. I suspect KSH's studio is too busy this year with damage control to properly serve the needs of their clients. I hope more of them will likewise soon be able to transition to other agencies and pursue successful careers.

I'm glad he got away from GM (even though they took their cut for BAYM before he left for VARO). I suspect GM is too preoccupied with damage control this year to properly serve their clients.

Update: It is alleged that Gold Medalist (Lee Chae Min's former studio, which is owned by the family of falling star Kim Soo Hyun) embezzled much of its talents' earnings, including this actor's wages from the production of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty:

It's better than revealing the plane crashed. People would be arguing over whether she went back in time or went…
That's what I thought. But last week someone posted a spoiler here (without checking the spoiler tag) claiming the webtoon ending had her recovering in the hospital after the plane had crashed. It also said that the world had totally changed as a result of her time travel (eg. no Korean War with the peninsula always unified). I was very upset by that spoiler and am relieved that none of that was reflected in this ending, even though what we did get was lacking exposition. I still don't know how the manhwa actually ends, but I no longer care.

FYI vertical shorts is why shorter dramas are popular and 12 eps is becoming more common There is a youtube video…
The OTT streamers (Netflix, Prime Video, D+, Apple+) are the biggest reason behind the shorter seasons. Their accountants have dertermined this to maximize value (return) for their investment. The OTT originals are all 10 episodes (derived from premium cable standards originating at HBO, Showtime, etc.) and as a result of this pressure, the licensed Domestic Networks' (MBC, TvN, etc.) shows have been reduced to 12 episodes from the previous standard of 16. The money derived from licensing series to OTT streamers is so great that the domestic networks cannot avoid catering to their demands.

Previously, Netflix and Prime Video had experimented with splitting the previous-standard 16-ep seasons into two 8-episode seasons (e.g. The Glory, Death's Game, etc.) but this backfired due to unsatisfying endings of the first "season" (which ended with a cliffhanger or abruptly) which in turn lead to low viewership of the second, concluding "season".

Oh, good for him. Distancing himself from Gold Medalist is not a bad thing. I suspect they must be too preoccupied…
KSH is a major owner of GM and the CEO is his half-brother (and whose own sketchy background has resurfaced during the fallout from KSR's tragic demise.)

That said, if KSH truly deserves exoneration I hope he gets it.
