For real!I only liked 3 dramas so far and it's already august!(For Eagle Brothers, Our Movie and Sorry Not Sorry).Every…
No K-dramas really hit the spot for me, so far, this year. Which surprises me. My favorite 2025 dramas were both from Japan: Private Banker & The Hot Spot. My favorite show overall is K-reality, Chef & My Refrigerator (which is so satisfying and with plenty of episodes that I haven't missed quality K-dramas!)
This reminds me of both the rugby J-Drama, 'No Side Game' and an old Disney movie adapted from the IRL Jamaican bobsled team's Olympic debut, 'Cool Runnings'. (Canadian comedic actor John Candy played the scandal-ridden coach. ISTR his sin was cheating using weights, not doping.) So far I am enjoying this.
How big is your screen? I sit closer to my phone, than I do my tablet, than I do my laptop, than I do my tv, than I do a projection screen. The bigger the screen, the further from it I do sit.
I was really expecting to get into this, but watching feels like a chore. I'm setting this drama aside but may come back someday, if I can muster the enthusiasm.
you mean, both of them were actually died on their first life, and all of this were their last attempt to get…
Yeah, or maybe even after all of them were deceased (time doesn't matter in the afterlife) they continued to play out their roles, possibly in more iterations than we got to see.
I feel like all of this happened in Limbo, not the real world. They kept working out their issues and determining their eternal fates before moving on to heaven or the dark place, by the choices they make.
I first thought this when reality became fungible as the seasons changed during the taxi ride. This impression only increased by the end.
I want to learn more about Hairy, the secretly wealthy chef who runs a restaurant with no customers but can still afford an employee and able to take a vacation to Jeju at the drop of a hat.
I am enjoying this very much. In plenty of ways (not all) more than the original.
I wish she had spent more time with Kamekichi when they were reunited (ep7). It was great that she instantly recognized him. Misa assuredly knows that turtle makes great eye contact. They should have engaged for a moment! IMO that needed to happen to sell the scene, which moved on too quickly to the Christmas tree. Lame.
I think Sumiyoshi got Misa's fate because of the age... if I calculated right (I doubt that so please correct…
OTOH, there is a huge age difference between the office manager who got the broken arm instead of the office worker's daughter in the original timeline.
Ep 4 The ladies are in Paradise, voting for one of the three new guys to come to Inferno, but they are filling out TRAIN tickets from Inferno TO Paradise. Where's the train? Why give him a ticket out of Inferno when he's already in Paradise? The production usually does a very good job but this is nonsense. 🤷🏻
