Well...I liked the ML up until he fired her, I really hope it wasn't his decision because that's fucked up. ML…
Did he, though? I mean of course he did, but it obviously didn't stick. She just keeps showing up to work like George Costanza (a character from the 1990's US sitcom 'Seinfeld' who quit his job but regretted it so he just showed up the next day and acted like nothing happened.)
Who continues to show up to work after being fired? What company fires a worker but allows them to keep their badge and desk and show up? Isn't it a security issue? (It is!) Usually they are allowed a few minutes to pack their stuff into a cardboard box and are escorted off the premises by security.
When a worker quits their job, it is standard practice to give two weeks notice. But when a worker is fired, it is immediate. This is really bugging me!
Is Season 4 (2025) in peril? Has PD Jang Si-won (and Studio C1 Studio) been sidelined by JTBC? Can someone please explain what is going on?
My rough understanding is JTBC's conflict with Studio C1 regarding revenue sharing (and alleging the studio has been double-billing production costs for games which were split into airing two episodes.) JTBC attempted to cancel the 2025 tryouts, has been contacting various production personnel (& maybe cast members) about proceeding without Studio C1 &. PD Jang's claimed to continue with the tryouts stating that there is only a slim window for tryouts before conflicts in scheduling with various baseball organizations make this impossible, and has disputed the allegations of impropriety (stating that JTBC never raised this issue during the first three seasons of the show.)
I also read somewhere that some of the veteran players/ cast members may go on strike in solidarity with PD Jang and this may result in an all-new cast—something which would ruin the show for me and probably many others. What's up with A Clean Sweep (Strongest Baseball)?
