OK so I finished this drama quite a while ago, but I suddenly got the feeling that I have to comment here about it. I have seen 70+ dramas and this one is no doubt the most confusing of them all. There are so many plots going on at the same time, that it gets frustrating and confusing to watch. This could have been a great drama, but the thousand side plots kinda ruined it.
~~~SLIGHT SPOILER~~~ It could have been slightly better if they had revealed some things earlier, and not all at once in the last episode. This way it could have been easier to follow and a little less frustrating. It was an interesting choice from them to build the story like they did, but unfortunately they executed it badly.

I gave it 7.5 stars because I liked the acting, especially Song Seung Heon's, and the plot and the theme were interesting, but as i said, they were also really messy.
I watched this out of curiosity, and the film is not as filthy as the description might make it seem like. I agree…
Though, I'd like to add that I found the sudden, uh, relationship? between Eungyo & Jiwoo a bit separate to the story, and quite unnecessary even. The build-up to it wasn't great, but in a way if you really start to think about it, it was understandable. Both of them were lonely and they were seeking warmth in each other. But due to the bad build-up, to me it didn't seem warm, it seemed quite cold. Almost emotionless, I'd say. At least from Jiwoo.
I watched this out of curiosity, and the film is not as filthy as the description might make it seem like. I agree that this film might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I myself found the relationship between the 70-year-old poet and the 17-year-old student almost tragically beautiful. The love was there, you could feel it while watching the two, and I found it so sad yet beautiful when the poet dreamt about being young again and truly being able to love a woman that young. There was yearning and loneliness in the film and I was pleasantly surprised by it. But, if you want to watch this film, prepare yourself for some pretty explicit sex scenes too. Let's just say that the relationship between the poet and the girl might have been pure, but that's not the case between all the characters. Anyway, open your mind, watch this film and let yourself be surprised by its beauty.
Why does this movie have such a low rating??? I thought it was amazing, I find it difficult to watch movies sometimes because I get bored and it gets hard for me to concentrate, however this movie was interesting from the beginning to the end. I think the horror-ish theme works pretty well in this, and it really makes you want to know more about what's happening. In my honest opinion I liked the ending too. Park Boyeong did an amazing job here, and I loved the relationship between her character Jooran and the other girl Yoondeok. Honestly I kind of shipped the two ^^" All in all, I gave this movie a 9. I really recommend giving this a try!

In my opinion Najeong would have made a better couple with Chilbong, because I think of Trash and Najeong more as siblings, and not a couple. But that might be just me. But overall this drama is honestly one of the worst ones from the almost 60 dramas I've seen, mostly because of the teasing.
To be honest, I hated this drama. I watched Reply 1988 before this and I loved it, so I had pretty high expectations for this one, but this really let me down. They were teasing waaay too much with the "who will be the husband?" plot and in my opinion she ended up with the wrong guy. The teasing made me so angry, and therefore I couldn't really enjoy the drama. The other characters were nice, I have no complaints of them, but the relationship between Trash and Najeong was awful, like in my opinion they really lacked chemistry and I didn't like them as a couple AT ALL. In my opinion she should've picked Chilbong instead. Also, it was REALLY obvious that Baro's character (Bingrae) had a crush on Trash?? But?? There was nothing? No confession, not anything, and then they forced a girl into Bingrae's life? Smh this drama was such a flop in my opinion. I have seen almost 60 dramas and this is in the top10 worst ones.
I heard that there won't be a second season because the show got banned in China or something? I'm so disappointed I wanna know what's gonna happen next!! Also I shipped Yang Meng and You Qi so hard I'm going to be so sad if their relationship doesn't go anywhere )-: I really wish for the second season to air.
