Zouey is in ecstasy because he thinks someone important loves him. We all know what first love is like - we think we are on top of the world, we idealise the world. While Zouey was feeling all this, he was raped by Lee. Rape victims feel shame so great that it is impossible to imagine. They blame themselves. In their imagination they twist what happened, telling themselves that it was their fault. They often hear that they did something that led to it. This is exactly how Zouey felt. He felt shame. He felt dirty. He was afraid that when others found out what had happened to him, they would forever look at him as "that raped boy". At this point, Nant gets involved in all of this. Nant finds out what has happened. He wants to reveal Lee's secret, using Zouey in the process. I'm sure Zouey told him not to do it, but Nant insisted. Look at it from Zouey's perspective. He must have been terrified. The thing he feared most was going to happen because Nant wanted it to happen. We can say that what Nant wanted to do was to help Zouey and it was the right thing to do. But we say it completely objectively. We do not feel the fear that Zouey felt. In my opinion, Nant is using Zouey to save himself from Lee. Let's remember that Nant is already involved in the drug case. In this situation, Zouey can only ask for help from one person, the one who knows what happened and will not let anyone find out the truth - Lee. Lee is the king of manipulation, after he raped Zouey, I'm sure he treated Zouey as if Zouey himself wanted it to happen. Zouey tells himself that it was his fault, that he wanted it himself. Zouey is still worried about someone finding out about his secret, but I think he also wants to find out what happened to Nant. I think it's only at this point that Zouey learns how dangerous Lee is. I think that's when Zouey finds out that Lee had Nant locked up in his club. I think this is when Zouey helps Nant escape. Zouey doesn't want Nant to meet Nont so that his secret will be safe. He's still scared, but he wants Nant to be safe. He arranged for him to go abroad. Nant might have been safe, but instead of doing as Zouey told him, he did something else. Zouey is not bad. Throughout this situation, he behaves like an animal caught in a trap - he fights for his life. Zouey thinks that if anyone finds out what happened to him, his life will be over. It must also not be forgotten that Nant is also guilty. He doesn't try to understand Zouey. He just wants to put Lee in jail to avoid his wrath over the drug case.
