I think it just depends on the interest of the fans. If they see the potential to get something, like popularity or business contracts, they will probably create a second season, even despite this unfairly low rating.

I think every series has something worth watching. You can always appreciate the hard work that went into filming, or the idea for the plot, or the commitment of the creators and actors. Or just the fact that watching the series makes some people happy. Calling the series the worst can hurt many innocent people.

They are smart. They did an open ending, so fans will speculate and create theories. They'll pick up the best ideas and make it a season two or a new series.

I think we can't say anything bad about Teena and Zouey's relationship. There is no doubt that they really fell in love with each other. Just to mention that after what Zouey went through, he let Teena get close to him. And Teena looks at him with adoration. That's what I think.
