I get what you mean, study group was a really tight script, though very different requirements plot wise. Still, I enjoy many parts of this one with the comic book suspension of dis- belief . Many parts I don’t.

it’s a live cartoon. it’s all in the intro sequence, music choices, shot choices, crazy antics… it’s not meant to be realistic realism, but real life cartoon (I feel)

This is a super athletes vs villains cartoon in my book… Helps to suspend disbelief 🫢

this script is made to be a bit cartoonish, super heroes vs the evil doers. seen through that lens is much easier to accept the outlandish plot points and unrealistic characteristics of our leads.
