has anyone seen Lee Dong Wook in a romatic lead that really gave them the feels? from my perspective, he gets close, due to romance element of his leads, but i never feel real warmth, love, passion and fire from him…. he has acting skills that he calls on, but I cannot f e e l him, his emotions run flat (not saying he cant pull up tears, he certainly can, but even those feel empty to ME). I really hope this one is feels deeper.

he “dated” a minor at a time when it was not illegal. there is nothing to charge him with, but plenty of evidence to point to the fact. then there was a web of false information where things got gross and polarization between those that will die on his gravestone and those that see he clearly has a thing for young women grew… He really did everything in his power to silence her while alive (which she, having been a victim of child grooming by this adult man, collaborated with, which further contributed to the demise of her mental health and wellbeing). everyone failed this young woman, her family included, the entertainment industry, the media…. her family failed to protect her as a child actress (also controversial around here, but true). all in all a very sad story, worth researching for those wishing to be informed supporters of korean art and entertainment. it speaks to a deep unexamined cesspool on our planet, touching every culture across the world. may we continue to grow and heal…. may we be willing to look at the truth in the face with sober eyes.

it seems like a trend that Disney releases (not originals) have a massive confusion of ott until moment of… any clarity on U.S. release and/or Europe would be appreciated 🙂

this type of drama has a guaranteed happy ending. we just have to go on the angst right for the landing. how well they handle it, that remains to be seen 😅
