I realized quite early in the drama that this is junk being sold as romance. Stopped watching and was waiting for the story to unfold - going by the comments, this drama is not worth wasting time so will be dropping it.

the only saving grace of this drama was the kid. He was outstanding for someone who is so young.

I guess it is to find out if you have any immortality in your bones - that is what I assumed it meant.

well, it would be nice if they stick to the character that is currently being depicted and do not show a sob story that would melt everyone and forgive him for his actions.

That is different - in BFTB, the leads were not in a relationship at that time. In this drama, they were in a relationship, and to me, it appeared that her trust in him was misplaced - not once but over lifetimes. Whether he blindly follows his father's orders or is forced to, he is a real POS.

In most dramas - the FL always forgives, so I would not be surprised if the drama adapts the same storyline. In reality, it would be very hard to win back the trust of a person whom you have deceived or betrayed.

I too hope she comes out strong else what is the point of being a badass phoenix??

Honestly, I would prefer that this drama does not have a happy ending. Yan Yue does not deserve FL. She should go her own way and find happiness elsewhere.

Agreed with what you have written. With a lot of skipping scenes, I watched 17 episodes just bcoz of ZLS. Then decided to drop it bcoz this drama is truly not my cup of tea. So much preaching in almost every episode - I found it boring.

I experienced secondhand embarrassment watching the FL's actions in this drama. Maybe there are viewers who love to watch an FL chasing after ML - this is definitely not for me.

@mooc: I agree with what you are trying to say. A 30++ male virgin is really an exaggeration. I guess that is why it is termed fiction (highly unlikely in real life) bcoz viewers enjoy seeing a man falling head over heels in love with a woman one fine day - until then, he is a workaholic.

I found the novel an interesting read than the drama. .

You are not alone. I skipped a lot. The only reason I am watching is bcoz of ZLS.

Lee Dong Wook will die in this drama - not acceptable at all!!!

It is unfortunate - I was looking forward to this drama. Will check in to see how it ended...if it has an HE, then will watch.
