I dislike FL's mom's character in this drama - she does not work and if she does, she creates trouble and more debts for her daughter; conveniently shifts the entire financial burden/responsibility on her daughter; lies about FL's dad's death and then refuses to disclose many details (so damn annoying) and at the end has no qualms to take the inheritance from her dead husband's estate whom she supposedly hates.

You are right - it is the most overrated drama ever. And yes, there is a group @MDL that continually bashes those whose opinion differs. I watched this drama for ZLS, and I can honestly say for once I disliked ZLS's acting except for when she cries in her brother's arms at the airport. She should start looking for scripts that focus on her acting skills and not just her beauty. ML - I never did take to him in any of his previous drama and my opinion has not changed - he cannot act. I also thought he should have stuck to his natural hair rather than rely on that weird wig. His pants are so way up it looked really bad - whoever designed his outfits and readied him for the shot should be fired. As for the storyline, there was hardly anything to it except for lovey-dovey scenes between the main characters.

It exists across MDL. If someone dares to give a negative or a different opinion then he/she is blasted with comments such as if you don't like, don't watch or leave. There is also a tendency to take things personal.
I agree that the drama is overrated. I read the novel and did not really think it had a good story to narrate. I watched this drama for ZLS - but her childlike acting as a 16/17-year-old was truly cringeworthy to watch. Which girl gets so fascinated with dolls/stuffed animal at the age of 16/17?? You are maturing at that age - developing new interests and leaving behind things you liked when you were a kid. Maybe it is because of her privileged, pampered life that SZ never grew up - I don't know but I did not think her character developed. As for the ML, he is tolerable even with his weird hairstyle and dressing, unlike his previous dramas which I dropped because I did not think he acted well.

No, it is not just you. Even I thought he wears his pants way up. His hair from the front looks as if he is wearing a wig. The person dressing and readying him for the shoot should be fired. The hairstyle which I liked the most was the one with bangs in the front - it suits him and makes him look younger.
