I liked the FL's sister more than the FL. Her love story with Wei Yu Quan is way better than the main characters. FL's hair styling - whoever did it, ruined her looks.

The storyline drags so much that I had to literally force myself to watch EP10. Given the comments below, I see that the story has not moved much since EP 10 - will most likely drop this from my watchlist.

He called up Hae Sang when Hae Sang was with San Young and had informed that he found something.

I do not think she will. She is too annoying and will be there until the last episode!

I do not understand how the FL is not scared to stay in that haunted house alone and conduct all her investigations mostly at night despite knowing that the evil spirit does not want her to find her real identity. Why would they (FL & ML) go to that place to look for the 4th piece of the puzzle at night?? Couldn't they have waited until morning? Neither HaeSang nor Detective Hong Sae filters out their conversation with the FL - everything is disclosed to her even though they know that she is possessed. Why would they do that unless it is a trick to trap the ghost? If it is a trick, then fine but if it is not then I would say both of them are pretty dumb.

In almost ALL Chinese dramas, a recurring scene often unfolds, where the FL becomes intoxicated, only to be carried home on the back of the ML.

True and I liked the novel version more. Personally, I think the scriptwriter /director should have stuck to the storyline - FLs characterization is also not the same as the novel. Anyway, 9 more episodes and I am done. - this drama is a one-time watch for me and that too only bcoz of Yang Yang!!

I do not recall reading about any cyanide poisoning in the novel. Some scenes are added to create maximum drama.

The old detective was killed, and I did not even feel bad - I guess it was because of the 1-week wait for Ep 9 - I was prepared for his death and therefore when it happened, it was like just another death.

You are not alone - I do not find him creepy at all. He is as broken as XQ. At least, XQ has SY to lean on. The parents have done a number on both the kids - they ensured that they are so emotionally crippled that they dare not go against their wishes.

It is not an interesting watch - I am watching it for Yang Yang. I have skipped a lot of scenes. The novel is better than the drama. Romantic scenes start at around EP 25 so if you want you can start watching from there - you will not miss anything spectacular :)

I agree - YY was stiff with no expression in most of the dramas that he acted. He has improved a lot in this one.

It should have been just 25 episodes - there were so many unnecessary scenes - I skipped a lot while watching this drama. The only reason I continued watching was bcoz of Yang Yang.
