Rather than what I want to to see happen in the remaining episodes - these are the things that need to happen…
Completely aligned with your post! I concur that it might be beneficial for Jin Hee and Eun Mi to contemplate living separately. The influence of Asian cultural norms often results in unmarried daughters cohabiting with their parents. Jin Hee appears to have assumed a parental role, contrary to the expected norm and that needs to change. Regarding Jae Won, there's a strong indication that his fondness for Jin Hee stems from their police academy days. This could potentially elucidate his frequently disgruntled demeanor towards her, particularly in the earlier episodes. As for Jin Hong, it seems he's regrettably beyond redemption (I just dislike this character!!), given his lack of personal growth at his age. It's my belief that he should have developed such maturity when he achieved financial independence. His persistent inquiries about Jin Hee's whereabouts also irk me, as she is certainly of an age where staying over at her boyfriend's or friend's place is entirely reasonable!
I had the same feeling, and to tell you the truth, it would be great if it were real. So he would have a little…
these men are nice, and submissive only during the early stage of dating. Once you get hitched, they will show their true colors! Regardless, Jin Young has most dull personality ever!
I for one am enjoying this show more each week. I think it's getting better and yes, I even like Jin-hong. I like…
Jin Hong comes across as quite accommodating, almost like a doormat. Given Eun-mi's personality, it's likely that she will lose interest in him before long. Their differing tastes and preferences further highlight the disparity between them. It's hard to envision a promising future for their relationship.
In today's episode, Jin Hee refers to herself as selfish. However, honestly, I see her as someone who is incredibly kind and giving. She wasn't truly obligated to bring Seon Jung, a pregnant teenage girl, home. She even gave up her bedroom for someone she barely knows and chose to sleep on the couch. She could have easily chosen to ignore Jae Won, even though she was aware of the challenges he's facing at the Head Office. What I sense is that due to her mother, she might never allow any man into her life. The possibility of romance between Jae Won and Jin Hee seems unlikely unless Jae Won takes the initiative.
Unpopular opinion but i don't really hate eunmi in ep8 (i don't like her in general though) but i'm 36yo and also…
I do not dislike Eun Mi either after watching Ep 8. But I truly believe that Jin Hong is not the right partner for her - he is too constipated in life!
It's the "excuse me" that's throwing me... what kind of stalker/murder says excuse me to their victim?
Referring to Ted Bundy, the serial killer, in one instance, he seemingly asked for help to carry books and was wearing a sling. Saying "excuse me" does not preclude the possibility that the man could be a stalker or a murderer.
Jinhong is a total loser I can't πI just don't understand Eunmi, how could she was so selfish wanted Jinhong…
Jinhong is not a loser after all he is a Doctor. He however appears to have a dull personality. For a man who is not even reached 50 years of age, he sure acts as if he is 75+!! My dad is more active than him and he is way older.
A classic filler episode; these two bickering women are incredibly complicated and whoever puts up with that is…
I don't believe there's a third wheel in their relationship; instead, it seems that in tomorrow's episode, she confessed her feelings to him while under the influence...lol.
For once, in Episode 7, my feelings toward her were neither negative nor positive; I'll reserve judgment. It struck…
I will withhold judgment for the time being. It's not that Eun Mi is insensitive to Jin Hee (I thought she was, but I don't think she is); rather, she seems to compartmentalize her relationships.
For once, in Episode 7, my feelings toward her were neither negative nor positive; I'll reserve judgment. It struck me that she holds some resentment toward Jin Hong. She comes across as someone who craves her boyfriend's attention exclusively, rather than focusing on her daughter.
Its hard to like a show that first portray it self as woman are strong and independent but then make them dependent…
I must admit, I'm not fond of the mother's behavior either; she seemed inconsiderate towards her daughter. I'm curious to see what unfolds in tomorrow's episode. Additionally, I didn't connect with the actor playing her first love (Jin Hong), at all. If this character gets too much screen time, I might consider dropping the show as well :)
