Finally completed the series. It would have been great had Lang Hua been killed instead of Han Pu. Pray, how was she even forgiven so fast? Given the way she attacked Bai Fengxi (from the back), how come Lanxi is ok with her continued interaction with his wife?

i skipped all scenes of Yu Wu Yuan. It is tragic that he was portrayed to be a evil man as opposed to a strong & honest character in the novel.

With all the alcohol that they intake, it is a wonder that their liver is still intact!

Watched 11 episodes and I thought the novel was much more interesting than the drama.

i am re-watching in Netfilix and I have got to agree with you. Initially I thought the FL was ok - nothing spectacular but passable. When you re-watch the series (bcoz you have nothing better to do!!), you do tend to notice that she hardly has any expression on her face and even if she does it is same throughout. No chemistry with the ML as well - Zhao Lusi would have been a better choice for this role. Anyway, it is what it is, #just stating my opinion - no offence to any fans of FL.

yes it is happy ending but i disliked the FL character so much. She just did not fight back. No spirit...just crying. So damn irritating.

the FL looks so old for this role #justsaying. the drama popped up in the Netflix - watched EP 1. Did not really like the FL so dropped.

for a 24 yr old (age in the drama), FL's character is very childish. I happen to like Ethan a lot. It is unfortunate that this drama is neither scripted nor directed well.

how old is the FL in this drama? She acts as if she is still 10 years old when in reality she is a grown women.

The main leads relationship was so dry.....no chemistry at all. Cannot believe that this is a 2019 drama - their relationship was so backward. FL character had no fire and was so boring.

FL is a doormat. Period. She gets r**ed and still loves the ML - he was not a phenomenal character and I did not see what attracted her to him.
