Exactly! Keifer has been a walking red flag from the start, and just because he might change later doesn’t erase everything he’s done. I'm watching the drama, not reading Novel 3, so I’m judging based on what’s happening right now. And right now, Yuri has consistently been the better person. If he turns into a red flag later, then fine—there will be two red flags. But that still doesn’t magically make Keifer a good guy. And honestly, I don’t care about the whole 'he changed for her' trope. Why should JJ have to suffer first before he becomes decent?
Also,Thank you for your comment! I was starting to feel like the odd one out for not liking Keifer. It’s nice to see someone else who sees the same red flags I do. Yuri has been nothing but kind, and Keifer’s actions don’t just get erased because of a forced romance arc. Glad I’m not alone in this!
