This is the fifth law drama I've heard is releasing this year. There's Lee Jung Suk and Im Yoo Na's Mouse for Tvn. There's Love according to Law with Lee Seung gi and Lee Se Young. There's Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh in Weird lawyer, Woo Young Woo. There's Min Namgoong and Kim Ji Eun's One Thousand Won Lawyer. And now this. They're really milking this genre this year, man.
I think everyone's giving yu rim more hate than she deserves. I completely understand her reason for questioning the ref's decision and screwing up the press conference even though it was the wrong thing to do. Her background is different from hee do, for her there may not be another tournament. She has to do well for her parents sake because they sacrificed too much so she could fence. And she's had to work harder than most people to get recognition. So I sympathize with her even though her reaction was extreme. However, her insecurities have clouded her judgement before and they will continue to do so. She is ignorant of the fact that there are so many people rooting for her, who comforted her from the get go. Which is admittedly a lot of pressure. Her character is flawed, she is not perfect, she is still growing. She's still a teenager. I am interested in her growth in the next episodes, to see her overcome them all and become a mature person and fencing professional. And I felt for hee do, she worked harder than anyone else and got such confounded hate for something that wasn't even her fault. I am glad yi jin was there for her. I am glad those old men at the restaurant were so sweet to her. Her reaction was valid and understandable. It could have been better, more mature but she is also only a teenager like yu rim. Too much was given for them to carry on their small shoulders. I am proud of them both. And I pray for their growth. And I'm in awe of the writer's prowess, they did extremely well presenting how there exist different perspectives that fuel a conversation, an incident or a situation that may or may not be correct because they can't be completely verified for sure. There's hee do who thought she won, yu rim who thought the gold medal waa stolen from her, their coach and the korean citizens' bias for yu rim brought even further confusion, hee do's mom who presented the facts on news, yi jin who felt for both fencers and searched for the only valid perspective that mattered of the referee, and finally the official who made the call himself. Despite his assurance that he made the right call, we can't be completely sure because that is simply another perspective but it's the one that matters. He said that in the heat of the match, the fencers can be mistaken on who was faster but hee do remained adamant on the other hand that a fencer always knows. So, I think this realism that the writer injected in this episode of contrasting perspectives with no definitive answer is what it so outstanding to watch. It gave the actors absolute conviction to interpret their characters' take on the situation as valid. I'm glad they showed us that in a situation like this, the match official, the athletes and their families and families are all victims. I'm very excited about the next few episodes but this is definitely one of the best dramas to come out of Korea. I'm truly happy when I watch it.
Choose to stay in marriage eventhough he knows the son isn't his just to give the son good environment, as if…
I think he was spot on. If he'd gotten divorced when his son was 4, he wouldn't have been able to process it completely. Even now, he will struggle with the fact that his parents aren't together anymore but he can process the idea of it, the pain that comes along with it and Jin seok can help him do that in a healthy way. I think his way of thinking in this matter is justified.
Lee Moo Saeng's breakdown in that scene when he founds out Chan Young is dying is so raw, such a great actor and I'm very happy he's getting more recognition with every nrw project.
let's not lie though. each day there's some new distorsion
Makes me think you have no idea about what you're talking and fighting about, you should probably watch it first before you judge it and yes, that's how it works. It was labelled as a propaganda project from the beginning when people had no idea what was going to happen in the show and that's what makes it wrong and now 5 episodes in, there's nothing portrayed that is considered offensive and only uses the 1987 democratic movement as a backdrop, that is literally it. You should educate yourself. People like you are dangerous, blind fools with empty minds.
Correction: A few high ranking members of the ANSP is shown to be really corrupt.Correction: The legality of keeping…
And it's pretty stupid of anyone to think that even an evil and corrupt organisation such as the ANSP doesn't have a few people with conscience. They are, after all, human. If people think that some of the ANSP aren't clear in the head but are still at the mercy of their superiors' corrupt and devious nature then they're just naive and blind to the human condition.
