When Gue-ru kept repeating, "Appa is here," with his ashes in front of him, I sobbed uncontrollably. My father is 48 and I can't help but get emotional when I think I'll have to live a considerable part of my life without him. The actor who portrayed Gue-ru is just 17 but his acting is as good as veteran and seasoned actors. The show is a wonderful critique of the cruelness of this world and the human nature. I get emotional each time I think back to Gue-ru and his father's scenes together. Kudos to the writer, director, actors and the rest of the crew for doing such a fantastic job with Move To Heaven.
I just finished episode 1 and holy shit, I cried. It takes a lot to make me cry and man, it just hit the right spots. Hoping the drama continues to be this good till the end.
I really want to understand Soo Ryeon but so far I only see her as a colossal jerk and selfish prick. A privileged and spoiled brat. I get that she was in a problem but how much more will she ask Myeong Hee to sacrifice? Soo Ryeon is using her, manipulating her and Myeong Hee is simply letting her. Myeong Hee's dismissal of consideration when it came to Hee Tae's feelings made me really angry, as well.
I'm so disappointed by this drama, you have no idea. On the surface level, it provided everyone with cheap thrills and entertaining moments but when you watch it with a keen eye, you can't help but laugh at how stupidly the show is written with many things that happened made me wanna destroy my tv because yes, they were that nonsensical.
I am so pissed at Vincenzo like bro you shouldhave helped Han Seo take on Han Seok but bitch wasted time untying Cha Young and not just that he has to escort her like so chill mfkr while Han Seo is fighting for everyone's life. That was so dumb. It was weak from someonewho's in the mafia. That was the stupidest shit ever by Vincenzo. I love Jang Han Seo, the only well written character in the show.
I love this drama but it's honestly not that good. I couldn't put my finger on it before but episode 15 cleared all that away and I finally understood what was bothering me. I have a problem with the characters and the way they're written. They move past such dark reveals too easily and lack the emotional depth a human has. Jang Han-Seok is a psychopath they reveled in episode 15 and yes, it'd make sense if only he didn't do things out of character so often like caring for Cha-young or losing control of his feelings generally. He lacks the traits of a psychopath and leans more towards being a sociopath. The people of the plaza are either too dumb or too talented, it's off putting. And good guys turning into bad guys and bad guys turning good, like somebody randomly presses a switch, there's no grey in the characters, there's either white or black. Vincenzo and Cha-young are fun characters but the plot is just too convenient and makes then look dull. One thing that this drama does very well is that it provides with moments that trigger an adrenaline rush even though they are now repetitive. I love the cinematography, it's cool and composed a lot like Vincenzo and it suits the drama and the pacing. The music is perhaps the best thing about this drama, the viewers can tell that a lot of research was done to choose the best score possible and I'm truly impressed with that. What lets down this drama is the lack of characterisation and its repetitive and pretentious plot. P.S. Inzaghi rescuing Vincenzo pushed beyond the boundaries of silliness in this drama, I want to cry.
Since Na In Woo has completely replaced Jisoo as the male lead as he reshot the first 6 episodes with the crew, I think Jisoo should be removed from the cast list and Na In Woo should not have (7-20) description beside his character name as well.
I love Jang Han Seo, the only well written character in the show.
