The writer should have done a better job at world building because it's one of thr major reasons the plot is a mess. They should have also avoided repetition because honestly, most of it is bland and boring.
Why are people crying over Doom dissipating? Mfkr is gonna come back nexr episode. The plot is a letdown, a mess and awfully predictable and I'm only really watching for the actors.

But they've already done the "I'm staying away because I don't wanna hurt you" troupe twice before. 1) When Doom was teleported away from TDK by that deity and he spent the whole episode away from her. 2) When TDK runs away from Doom and her family and friends to Jeju. I thought that would put an end to the "push and pull" but here we are again.
Pain. I love this drama, it is brilliant but so much pain. My heart aches for the characters but goes to show how turbulent a time, may of 1980, was for South Korea. I pray for the victims of the Gwangju uprising and I hope those who survived have overcome the pain and trauma they were put through and are living well.

The talent companies and managers treat idols really badly. They control their every fucking move, dictating them as if they don't know better. They have no personal space, being psychologically hurt by both their employers and fans. And the companies and managers using fans as an excuse to control their artists is bullshit because they're the ones who marketed them as public property. It really pisses me off how the idols suffer so much mental anguish because of their companies and fans alike.

Fans feel betrayed and go protesting as if they have a right over the idols' lives. It makes no sense to me why they take such extreme measures, making the idols' lives miserable with all the negativity. I'm glad the drama is addressing the mental anguish the idols suffer through because of the fans.

If they're good, I can watch any but I prefer Korean dramas due to there being an array of genres there and good production quality. Most Japanese dramas are satisfactory but the acting lets you down generally. Whereas Chinese dramas lack originality and are stuck inside the romcom genre bubble. Korean dramas evolve every year with new ideas explored and executed. Their only shortcoming is that most character conflicts are repetitive and to complete a script that stretches to 16-20 episodes, the essence of the drama's initial premise gets lost.

Oh man, their acting is definitely not good. It just so happens that most dramas airing right now have very intense plots and this one provides a little calm to their anxious nerves.
