Hopefully it will have the opportunity to not be your favorite. I have high hopes for a couple other dramas, if they manage to find a release this year, not least of which being Novoland: Eagle Flag.

I can't find the page for season two anymore :O

I can't find it online anywhere. Oddly enough, I can't find any news on it in Google News. Usually after a release, there's a review or something about new shows on some website, but nothing new. On top of all that, Chinese websites only give a year, not a date, for release. So I'm gonna guess it hasn't been released, but I'll happily eat my words if anyone can point us in the right direction.

So then what are youth expected to watch? Cartoons? I've seen a few of those on YouTube, trying to pick up the language, but not anything compelling enough to stick with.

I've watched the trailer three times since I wrote that. I'm hopeful, actually. This does look better than most other shenmo I've previewed.

Is it mixed with youth or meant for youth? I just watched the first five minutes and it looked great, but I'll never cease to be amazed by how bloody even shows seemingly for children can be in China. Barely ever so much as a kiss or a woman's shoulder being visible even in more mature shows, yet more blood than you'll see in most shows in America.

If only somebody would upload the show and enable community addition of subtitles of the episodes on YouTube. As it is, the copies of the show I can find don't allow that.

Too bad it doesn't look nearly as good. It has too much of a shenmo look, which I appreciate in books but is rarely translated onto the screen well.

Wasn't expecting that trailer to look so interesting. Now I've got another series of unknown release to await.

Just went from 30 to 48 episodes. I'm suddenly much, much more intrigued. 30 sounded too short to warrant much investment of energy.

Don't think there are English subs, though I hope that'll be remedied soon. You can find the first episode on YouTube with Vietnamese subs. I looked through it; parts looked very good, parts looked kinda boring.

The most annoying part of having grown addicted to C Dramas is the total randomness of their releases. We'll get like a few days' notice that something we've been told years ago will some day be released is finally coming out, and even then it only seems to be true half the time.

Just saw that this is coming out in one week. I liked the movie, hope the series is just as good.

The most underrated show, period. 15 episodes in and I am so impressed with this show. Lareina Song is amazingly talented. Her facial expressions allow you to read her character like a book in a way few other actors I've ever seen can accomplish.
