My 4th Cdrama with Arthur Chen as male lead.
1. Ever Night
2. Lighter and Princess
3. Love story in the 1970's
and now this one. He seems to be getting some high quality acting offers. Also, getting to act with some of the most beautiful cdrama actresses as the female leads does not hurt either.

It is fun trying to spot all the actors doing cameos/guest appearances.

I agree. I really enjoyed Our Secret(2021). Not a story with time travel or extreme elements, but a sweet coming of age story.

I am liking this so far. It feels like it has its own unique charm. The 8.1 mdl rating seems quite low. I have seen a lot of cdramas on this site that seemed bland to me routinely get 8.5 or higher ratings. Maybe my personal taste?

I am a little confused about how many more episodes remain. Netflix{USA} show this as an 8 episode drama. MDL shows 10. Maybe a result of longer episodes on Netflix though. If next week really is the end, then I will be quite disappointed.

probably what I should have done, too. This is a BINGE type of drama for sure. One episode a week is brutal.

This drama actually reminds me of The Story of Ming Lan. Although the stories are different, they share many elements such as a smart female lead and a strong male lead that is dedicated to her. Very similar vibe.

She is so good in Stand by Me, too!

For me, a 9.5 so far. I hope the final episode brings the story to a satisfying end.

7.8??? This drama has a good mixture of humor, mystery, romance, etc.. One episode left and it has a sub 8.0 score? A real shame that people will see that score and decide not to watch.

The cinematographer is Park Seong Yong. Other dramas that he did the cinematography include Goblin, Just Between Lovers, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Crash Landing on You, Flower of Evil, The Forbidden Marriage, and Celebrity. Very talented.

Drama being referred to is a Taiwan drama called Someday or One Day. It is available on Viki.

My thoughts (or wishes) on Mr Gu returning to his old life in the city and job at the night club is that he has finally realized that these men from his past are going to keep going to the country to see him and that it could become dangerous for everyone around him. By going back, I believe that he will be trying to find a solution to resolve these threats. If this is the case, then I just wish he could have said something to Mi Jung (but he may not even believe he can succeed 100%). My thoughts ...
