I am going to watch 15 and 16 back to back too. Fingers crossed for the ending.
Yes, I enjoyed it. There really was not any romance to speak of, but it was a nice historical drama based on actual events. Lee Byung Hun starred in it and was perfect, I had heard that he was an excellent actor, but I believe this is the first thing I have seen him in. You are not alone when it comes to finding good movies, often it is difficult to find the ones you want to see in the first place. Good luck!
It is difficult to describe how beautiful this show is. From beginning to end- there is not one thing that I would want to change. It left me with a feeling of complete peace.

Thanks for the reply. I watched the K-movie Masquerade to tide me over. It is getting close enough to the release time on Dramafever so I am going to watch 15 soon!
I am enjoying the show female character is really girl power, loved it when she was expecting a piggy back but…
I thought the princess carry/piggyback scene was funny when Oh Soo wondered if her weight was 60 geun. Yoo Ri was a little disturbed by the estimate until she discovered the conversion was 36kg(80 lbs). Her delighted and/or flustered reaction was cute.
It seems that there is going to be more than the usual love triangle in this drama(is it called a square?). Oh Soo appears to have caught the interest of the woman that met him initially for the arranged date and Yoo Ri looks to have an admirer in the guy she ran into at the hospital(her sister's homeroom teacher).
Aw geez, how did this show put me into such a state of mental distress? It seems like it has boiled down to just the two main characters now, and they look to have a forced legal separation in place -for Soo Jin and Hye Na. I feel like there is going to be no middle ground with this show for me in the last 2 episodes -either they are going to be together and I will remember it as a magnificent work of art, or it will have an ending where they are not together and I will bitterly regret ever having watched it. Nothing has been easy for them, but I believe they will find a way to be together in the end(my dream).
After a few "awkward" episodes, I've started enjoying this drama more and more...I think Yoon Doo Joon, Kim So…
I agree, the 4 or so episodes prior to #11 seemed "lost" or just kind of meandered around trying to contribute to some kind of story. After ep. 12 things seem to be more in focus and it is getting to be enjoyable again. Personally, I could do with less of Soo Ho's crazy show-biz family affairs and more on Geu Rim, Kang, the radio, and himself. The show has a nice center to it- the writer/director seemed to force it in a weird direction that really hurt the show's ratings.
Episode 13 was...i cant even explain it but im crying. It was amazing
Yes it was amazing, but too sad once again. I kind of thought they might get caught by the police, however I was still hoping that they might not. The U.S. movie Thelma and Louise has a phrase in it that had been running through my mind: "Brains'll only get you so far and luck always runs out". I'm still hoping for the best for our 2 heroes.
Tonight's the night! Can't wait to see Seo Jin and Jun Ki's romantic development.
Ha! I was just about to make a post about how much I have been missing the guesthouse gang and then I saw your post. The previews also hint at a more serious contender for the affections of Yoon Ah. Dong Goo better step it up now( oh, the torturous love triangle).
I clicked on the screenwriter (Jung Seo Kyung) to view what other dramas she had written and discovered that this was her first. She has only done movies prior to this (the award winning film The Handmaiden among them). She is a fabulously talented screenwriter and I hope she takes on more work in drama land.
btw we're living in 2018 man, Eun Joo! should have made a copy of that video. When will kdrama ever stop with…
Jeez, right! How difficult is it to make a digital copy of a file of something that is critically important? In the drama Money Flower, Kang Pil Joo's archives were broken into and his records were stolen, but all he did was calmly tell the perpetrator that he had a hundred copies of everything that was taken- no big deal.
14 minutes into episode 11 and I need to take a break. Yes, I do realize this is a fictional story, but there are also very bad people in the world. Just hurts my heart.
After episodes 7 & 8 this has become my under-rated/sleeper drama for 2018. I am really loving the progression from the all out wackiness of the first couple of episodes into a show with some real warmth and heart (but still keeping healthy servings of comedy). Half-way point reached in the show. Keep up the great work cast and crew!
