I feel bad for asking because I may have missed something and I really do not feel like re-watching right now, but exactly how did Joon Ki raise the money to pay off the landlady for the wedding? It was funny that Dong Goo has to call him Father now, but it will be even funnier if what he did for the money blows up on him when it becomes known.
what the f**k! Do they really have to have that cliffhanger???? I'm so upset.. now how can I wait for a week?…
OMG, the end of ep. 10... I literally want to track that guy down and end him myself.:rage: It is difficult to fathom that the girl that plays Hye Na/Yoon Bok is only 7. The barbershop scene in ep. 9 where she is telling her birth mother that Hye Na is dead now was gripping. Everything about her performance in this drama has been mesmerizing.
It was really good to get more pieces of Hye Ran's mysterious past. And am I the only one getting intense heebeejeebies from Eun Joo now? The actress that plays her is quite skilled.

I am not sure if you are looking for other quality time travel dramas or not. I can recommend Live Up To Your Name, Signal, and Tunnel for Korean dramas that I have enjoyed(probably in that order). Congrats on actually being able to finish Manhole, I gave up around ep. 8 or 9(very disappointed after a promising start). Also congrats on avoiding Park Shin Hye dramas...funny, but true.
Second half of ep. 6: the lie that led to the misunderstanding that led to bigger lies that led to a wedding. Absurd sitcom stuff that caused me to think the show was losing its magic. Then the wedding happened (and why is Soo Ah reappearing in Dong Gu's life at the wrong time?). OK show, I was wrong,,, and you only took 30 mins to show me that I was wrong. I need more show, please.
I did enjoy her part in this show, & am sad she won't be continuing in it, but still like the drama a LOT & certainly…
I still have not decided if I will or not. At the very least, I will wait until it has finished airing and then possibly check it out. I read that it is still getting good viewer ratings.
All it takes is for anyone to look at my profile picture to understand why I had any interest in Return. I enjoyed Go Hyun Jung's acting in this drama and like others have mentioned, was puzzled by the diminishing screen time and lack of character development for her character. Not sure if I have any interest in continuing with it now. I hope the full story of what angered her to the point that this occurred can be known to the public someday.
Some seriously funny(?)things happening in the first two episodes. I am always surprised that the shows that I seem to be least interested in before they air somehow end up being pure gold for me.
oh my Saturdays now are empty after today...Otokeeee I enjoyed this drama so much...but I wonder if there will…
I replied below(in a spoiler) that there seemed to be more story that could be told. Mo Hyun, Pil Joo, and Boo Cheon all have story arcs that appear as though they were left open on purpose. I have read online that last Saturday's (1/27/18) episodes did extremely well- ep. 21 had an 18.3% rating and ep. 22 had a series high of 22.8% rating. If the story really was for 50 episodes and the show continues the strong ratings through the last weekend... then maybe! On an aside, I personally enjoyed Park Se Young as Mo Hyun. I liked her acting and thought she had great chemistry with Jang Hyuk.
Are you sure you want to know before you watch? No one died in the last 2 episodes, although one woman lost her mind. The ending seemed to be aimed at being "realistic" in that the people involved with the slush fund money went to jail(including Pil Joo). My biggest sort of let down was that as of the moment the show ended Pil Joo and Mo Hyun were not together, although it is clear that they still have mutual feelings for each other. The way things ended I kind of have a feeling that there is a lot more story that can be told with a second season. But maybe not.
Just finished episodes 23 & 24. Without spoiling anything, I will say that Money Flower has settled in as my #1 Kdrama. Everyone that worked on this magnificent show should be very proud of what they have accomplished with this program- a total of 24 one hour episodes that never disappointed me( and quite often astonished me).
I wonder what Na Gi Chul will say and if it'll affect Pil Joo's position right now. It's good that he wants to…
My personal feelings are that although it is true that it was Pil Joo's plan that Na Gi Cheol followed- it was his own decision to do so. And he must consider that he owes Pil Joo a debt for saving his life in the hospital and afterwards when Pil Joo hid him and provided treatment/care that made his recovery possible.
Now ... the agonizing wait for the final 2 episodes. BTW, you may want to check out Return. It has a strong female attorney played by Ko Hyun Jung that has been making the wait less painful. Actually, I like the show a lot on its own merits.
Am I the only one who's starting to really not like Mo Hyun? The character, not the actress.
That's funny because her actions are starting to rub me the wrong way too. I understand her point of view and what she is trying to accomplish, but still seems kind of extreme or overreaching. I wonder if Pil Joo foresaw the possibility that this day might come and already has a plan in place.
I didn't want ep 17 and 18 to end too intense....all the actors are doing a great job...OMG and they all have…
I know what you mean about not wanting the show to end. It is interesting that there does not appear to be any unnecessary Kdrama story filler material - the story has actually been growing in intensity. I have been kind of thinking of one possible development- that Mal Ran and Boo Cheon are not going down without an epic fight.
I caught myself holding my breath several times during episodes 17 and 18, it has been years since a show has done this to me. Jang Hyuk and Park Se Young- Bravo. Writer- Bravo. Director- Bravo. Another long wait for the next episodes.
