Why do princesses never know how to swim in these dramas? There is the obligatory scene, in every one of these dramas (ep 12 here), where the FL is pushed into a pond, which is of course very, very, very deep and the ML jumps in to save her while she is sinking immobile deeper and deeper.... Mind you, these scenes are very pretty! Very pretty, indeed!🤣🤣🤣

I dropped those second seasons after one or two episodes: definitely not as good as the original. Kingdom is horror I never watch but each season has 8 episodes therefore making it a regular K drama length (i.e.16 epidodes). Mostly second seasons are not as good as the first one! It always looks like they are milking the cow dry: if it works, lets continue making more of the same! Each of those second seasons got a lot of flack from the fans for being not as good as expected. Stranger, Missing, DP, Strong Woman, Duty After School...to name just a few most (not all!) users here found lacking and disappointing.

All I can say is that I sincerely hope to be proven wrong but I will not be holding my breath!😉🤣🥰

A second season of a K-drama is NEVER a good idea!

Is there a compiled subbed version anywhere else but on Dailymotion (the image quality is atrocious there!)? Frankly I cannot be bothered to watch 3min episodes one by one.....

Poor actors were so cold while filming!🥶🥶 I feel so sorry for them when I see them dressed in those flimsy dresses and the steam coming out of their mouths when they breathe... I am so having trouble concentrating on the plot!🤣🤣🤣Dropped!

Yes it did end on a cliffhanger but it has been too long now! Are they running out of ideas, just like in the US with endless reboots and spinoffs?🤣🤣🤣

Something In The Rain ep. 1 when the main couple meets the ML answers "While you were sleeping" which was the actor's, Jung Hae In's, previous drama.
King The Land ep. 7 while visiting the korean royal palace, the ML says "This place seems oddly familiar!" which is, I think, reference to the actor's, Lee JunHo's previous drama The Red Sleeve where he played the owner of the palace, the king! In ep 8 they are making reference to Anupam Tripathi's previous role in Squid Game: we see his costume with numbers 119 on it which was his role! There are probably more in this drama that I missed!🤣
Also in Sh***ing Star the ML gets ready to confess by referencing some great drama classics: Goblin, DOTS, Coffee Prince...Hilarious! I need to find the episode!

Sorry, I did not see or understand them like that. If they were written like that, then the acting was bad since I misunderstood them. I expected to see it and all I got was Achi jumpy, scared and forcing himself to be in love. So if those scenes are obvious and not open for a subjective interpretation, why did not I see it? (Rethorical question!) My loss, I'm sure!🤣🤣🤣🥰

I like the "not silly" parts of his role in Cherry Magic. I am under the spell!

I love Tay and New to bits and I do not know how many times I rewatched Dark Blue Kiss but I cannot feel/see their chemistry here! They seem to be in different universes! Why do I feel like Achi, because he's kind, feels somehow obligated to return Karan's feelings even though he never thought about him in a romance way, he just admired him like someone highly talented, competent and successful but nothing more. Isn't he mistaking admiration for love? I mean, the more Karan is attentive and lovey dovey with Achi, the more Achi seems uncomfortable and ill at ease! It is really difficult to watch!

Dropped: I can tolerate sugar only to a certain level! Here it is literally off the charts! Not for me! Too much cutness can ruin it!

This is such an underrated gem and your review does it justice! Thank you for so eloquently presenting every incredibly simple but powerful aspect of this mini drama!

It was just an off the cuff remark and I never really considered the question seriously! But reading your comment, I realized how actually scary the sound is, how we all are jumpy and ultimately conditioned to react to noises. So there is a valid reason behind the evil characters' humming/whistling!
