There is an american version of the movie called "The Upside" 2019. The premise is similar now that I think about it: but it is friendship between a handicapped person and his carer. Not even a touch of romance so that's why I wondered...

Why The Untouchables? Because it deals with a handicap? I never saw that movie....

You seem to be a big fan of this drama so can I ask you something please. I just started watching this and it is giving me Birth of a Beauty vibes: "you are pretty only if you are model thin". Does the overweight version eventually come back or they are telling us : you can be only happy if you are thin and beautiful?
