I wish I had your courage and said everything you just wrote but The Untamed fans are a feral lot so nobody dares say anything bad about it or they come upon them with a ton of bricks and you are massively blocked for having bad taste! I was challenged to watch it and I kick myself for accepting it since I never wanted to. I finished it recently and only after reading the book (another piece of bad writing but thankfully the translators took the trouble to explain everything!) otherwise I would have been just as lost as you are: the relationships and the many different names for a single character are incomprehensible. Great review: I needed to read a good rant! Thanks!
I felt no chemistry between the leads in the pilot. I just hope I am wrong! But I trust this director: I liked every one of his series....So, here's hoping for the best!
I like everything he made with the exception of Lovely Writer: couldn't finish the first episode, too cringy for my taste. But everything else, I just loved. Even the last one, Step By Step which was ruined by the poor casting choice for the role of Pat. Fortunately, the other actor, Man Trisanu, stepped up and carried the whole show on his shoulders making me forget the awful Pat in spite of him being the main character! That is magic of good director!!! Was he forced to cast Ben Bunyapol as Pat, I wonder.....

Yeah, the chemistry was crazy good, butterflies inducing masterclass! I can probably count on the fingers of one hand such level of chemistry I perceived in a drama; either a very rare occurrence or I am a difficult customer! I binged One Spring Night too but had a lot of issues with it (for example: at one point he asks her if she accepts him to stalk her, watch her from afar, since they cannot date!) so it is quite memorable for that. I still remember it vividly even though it was one of the first dramas I'd seen long time ago (right after SITR which was my 3rd or so drama!) Aaaah, that pandemic!😂

I am dropping it halfway through the first episode: the FL is so annoying in her pursuit, the second hand embarrassment is of stratospheric levels! Not for me! Could have been cute......😭
Great article! I am with Anquat when they talk about One Spring Night in comparison to Something In The Rain. I must have seen SITR at least a dozen times and managed to finish OSN with great difficulty once and never again: the spark which made SITR so special was definitely missing! For me at least!
