No, not her but the casting crew at the audition! I hate those kind of comic relief characters who are not funny at all! It is demeaning to trans or fem gays and it usually makes me ill at ease when I see them used as a comedy tool!

I still shudder when I remember those screeching trans characters and awful omnipresent sound effects in Lovely Writer otherwise the subject matter was very interesting and I was looking forward to watching it but could barely finish the first episode!

I was just like you when I watched it. I asked the same questions and could not understand why it had such rave reviews. It does get better later, it is very funny but her screaming was just incomprehensible. The beginning is really really bad!

🤣🤣🤣 It took her actually, if I remember correctly, about 5 episodes to stop screaming like a banshee! There is another drama, a revenge, enemies to lovers makjang, starring the same main couple Secret (2013). She's in it but she does not scream once and has great chemistry with Ji Seung.

Koreans are really fond of these corruption themes, rotten individuals and a Don Quichote main characters....
Thee character of Han Je Kyun is creeping me out: he has a menacing attitude(just watch the mouth micro expressions! Brrrrrrrrr!!!!) behind honeyed words and tinted glasses which give him the look of an old mafia don!

Missing/absent/sick parents as a motivation for revenge/action....I thought j dramas did not use this trope....
And action sequences in ep 1 are so obviously fake: she never touches anyone but the all fall over nevertheless!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ep. 2 if he has an extra shirt, why does he want to give him the one he's wearing? They are going strong with nonsense!

Dropped after 7min. I guess the novelty of the short c dramas wore off pretty quickly: after ten dramas, that's it, I cannot watch these anymore. I need a plot not only chemistry!

The husband is cheating on her left right and center and the daughter is ashamed of being seen with her own mother. Lovely family!

Magical perfume turns her model thin. She gets a part time job at a fashion show and ends up working as a model and a housekeeper (don't ask!) for the ML who is fashion designer.

I have a huge problem with obesity and how people forget the fact that it is a serious illness and not body positivity issue. Instead of promoting healthy attitude towards the food and exercise (like they did in Oh My Venus), the "community" is treating everyone who mentions health issues as "fat shaming racists". Either magical perfume (and drastic cosmetic surgery without changing habits!) or the "body positivity" are both wrong. As well as the notion that you need to be thin as a twig to be happy and loved! This is unwatchable! Awful! Unless you take it as an allegory but I could not: I was too uncomfortable watching it!

Lovely series bogged down with awful editing and pacing. Worth the watch if you are patient! Very very patient! or have a ffw button readily accessible!

I found the whole thai series cringeworthy and lacking basic chemistry(what I felt!) between the actors. I watched it at the period when I did not drop anything and I was literally squirming in my seat with second hand embarrassment throughout! Probably the only series I fast forwarded through, which I do not remember ever doing again!
That's why I wonder how the koreans are doing it!
