Just finished it. Big disappointment. Main couple no chemistry whatsoever. Pitiful! Second couple overflowing with chemistry though: there should have been more of them and less of charisma free leads....
I dropped this drama a couple of times : too slow and silly and a lot of ott acting. But,third time is the charm, I stuck to it out of boredom and from episode 6 things pick up, the acting picks up, the chemustry is suddenly there and I actually found myself laughing(smart comedy not slapstick so overwhelmingly present in Kdramas!) out loud a few times. Nice! Hope it stays so?

Just starter watching this and it is awful. I just don't get it: maniacal laughter by the ML is so ridiculous, OTT acting is so bad. I don't get all the love this drama is getting. Maybe it'll get better? So far it's only been extremely cringeworthy!!!!
I'm on episode 9 and so far it has been such a good surprise:a slow moving but never boring drama. One thing though: will the ML rebel finally and tell his awful grandmothe to f... off? I can' stand his attitude!
Has anyone notice that the ML chilhood home is the same house as ML's in The Innocent Man ? The same actor playing FL's father in both dramas! Revenge stories, poor man, rich woman, evil father.....I am loving it!!!!
Should have been better, could have been much much better if slightly more serious! Had so much going for it, great idea and cast but it is actually so bad!
I soooo agree with your top drama Something in the Rain: it is just perfect! The very real story, characters being very human, making and remaking same mistakes, horrible mother, unfair work environement.... I discovered KDramas three months ago (thank you lockdown!) and SITR was the third drama I binge watched (I hated Goblin, and liked CLOY) and I just love it(I've rewatched it about once a week since). The chemistry between the leads is amazing! On the other hand One Spring Night is an industrial disaster: main leads have no chemistry, she is awful and a librarian cliché (complete with glasses and frumpy clothes to match her godawful personality), he is cute but creepy with her (asking her for a permission to stalk her!?!?!)Their romance is not credible. The only positive aspect of this drama is the treatment of the issue of wife beating (excellent actors, finely written scenes showing how women survive hostile home environement)! I am so glad to find that I was not the only one to find SITR one of the best dramas ever!!! Thank you!
Thank you for this review: I thought I was the only one! I loved SITR but hated this: it was so bad that it was painful to watch! Zero chemistry between leads, zero adults just a bunch of 30 yr old kids! What a disappointment!
No, no, no, no! This is so wrong on so many levels!!! Could have been something but it is a disaster full of clichés . Growth? Don't make me laugh! They are both spoiled children pretending to be adults! Fortunatelly ther are secondary characters who are much more interesting; like his parents, her mother, his boss.
Yes! Thank you for this review: I thought I was the only one disappointed by this thing. You put into words my feelings about this drama! I couldn't believe certain reviewers adoring this thing and comparing it with Something in th Rain. Which I loved and that's why I'm watching this. But it is awful!!! It can't be the same director! Can't be the same cast! Just awful!!!Weird ideas, bad acting, silly story and the ultimate sin as you say, absolutely no chemistry watsoever between leads! So thank you...
