Great drama! Bit of a slow start but starts getting really intense from episode 4.Weird camera angles though! What's all that about??

For the first time watching Kdramas I stumbled upon something funny but not cringeworthy funny as were ALL the other "comedy" dramas I'd seen. Thank you Lee Joon Gi! And the three stooges are hilarious!

Bad boy with a heart of gold in most of his projects! But, wow what an actor! The best there is!

Then come: childhood friends, love triangle, back hugs, wrist grabs,secrets and it is only episode 5. Soon they'll be running out of kdrama tropes to put in this drama...

First two episodes, already two white trucks of doom! Kdrama tropes abound!

Really not cute, lots of bad acting and zero chemistry....

Wow what a show! Over the top, ridiculous, cartoon evil couple, miserable lead and yet you just can't stop watching! It is so bad that it s excellent! A great ride! The kings of cliffhanger!

There is nothing new under the sun and this drama is full of usual tropes: rich guy, poor girl, cold ex girlfriend, and if it had been only that it would have been ok because the leads have great chemistry.

What an annoying kid: so rude,misbehaving and definitely not cute.... such a spoiled brat!For a great kid see Two weeks...

Halfway through, weird how the only victims killed are women?!? Otherwise this drama is really good except for the annoying kid and the awful FL's hairstyle(a wig maybe?)... The female characters are all the same: good or bad they are in general hysterical women who cannot control their feelings, they react and then they think.What a macho drama!

She is like a 2 year old throwing temper tantrums.Unbearable. Moreove the actress playing her is just awful: so much bad acting almost ruined this drama. Thank God for LJG!

Jung Mal Ran is his father's wife. His mother, murdered on JMR's order, was his father's mistress and the love of his life. Kang Pil Joo also had an affair with JMR in order to accomplish his revenge.

Korean version of "The Fugitive"

Not as sad as all the comments have you believe: their love story couldn't have ended any other way! It just needs 10min more in the 21st. century to wrap it up in a happy ending but they hint at it with the king's last line. History is bloody, fighting over a throne is always tragic, many people die: it is the gist of this drama! Beside all that: WOW!!! Lee Joon Gi: can this guy act or what!? He tells more with a look in his eyes than most actors with grand gestures and passionate talks. Anything he's in is well worth the watch. This had so many flaws but LJG made it good! IU is so sweet as well, has great chemistry with LJG ; but could she maybe next time choose a drama with a happy ending?

This is so me! So much so it's scarry! Thank you lockdown! Before it was all US shows but I couldn't stand them anymore so I tried something different and fell down the Kdrama rabbithole; I haven't watched anything in english (or any other language for that matter beside korean) since April. And I haven't overdosed yet! The kdramas are a perfect escape from reality! Learning more about korean culture, rich history and language was an added bonus! Plus I have been listening kdrama ost songs on repeate mode.... Is this serious, doctor?

Thank you for this funny review: I have only seen two episodes so far but I saw everything you write about and I agree wholeheartedly! IU is ok and has decent chemistry with LJK who is this drama's saving grace. Should I continue watching just because of him? The rest is so messy....
