chile…. anyways, didn’t know Europe was a country?? or did u live in the many separate
parts of Europe. I think the term ur looking for is the West - Western Europe? cuz I’m assuming u didn’t live in one of the European muslim-majority countries? or wartorn Ukraine? or Romania?? this comment is wild, bc it’s like me saying “Why are Asians so [insert negative characteristics here]” bc I lived in Lebanon for a hot sec. meanwhile the only thing Lebanon and Japan have in common is that they’re both in the continent Asia😭😭 people are so exhausting with their small mindedness. there are a lot of good people in Western Europe too for the record. bc who built those governments? the people. if the people sucked as much as u say here, they wouldn’t have built governments that aspire to protect the weakest

went on imdb to check something and was surprised to see a 6 rating. realized it was bc iraqis who were having a collective effort and giving it 1s. while i dont appreciate the orientalism and laziness of using iraq as a place so dangerous to set up the ML’s superior credentials in high risk situations; it’s nothing compared to how they present the US?? they present it as a country who would send assassins to south korea to kill a presidential candidate lmao. it seems insane, but 100% they’ve done stuff like this and meddled in elections in the past (and probably in the present too in global south). if something, the iraq mention is laziness, while the picture painted of the US is actual critique of their real world conduct. also, it becomes very clear very fast that this is set in a fictional world order where things developed differently. and honestly? it would be even worse if they used a place of active conflict as opposed to iraq to set up the ML’s experience

Ending was a let down for me. HM losing the last case to her loser ex-bf, 2ML sudden proposal after dating for…
sometimes a loss is not a loss, and in this case it felt like that. the thing I do agree w u on tho, is the 2nd couple. although the proposal didn’t seem THAT rushed to me, i think their getting together was

this show went beyond all expectations. sure, it has its weak points, but the red thread that tied it altogether being love in its many forms was such a treat. the legal cases, personal lives of the characters and conversations were all tied tg by this red thread, and the maturing of the reflections and conversations around love between the characters was so nice. honestly, i feel like this “meta-angle” on love (if that makes sense) is what made it so unique, bc it made me emotionally engage w the minor characters of the legal cases. it’s very rare for me to experience that while watching a drama in this format. AND, even the office politics that seemed a bit random was tied up in a way that it reflected the red thread - mr. Ko’s love for the company he started came out victorious, and he let go in the name of that love

I actually only saw a drunken man waking up and wondering what the heck is going on. For me, the attraction is…
i would 100% agree w u if this was an isolated event, but in several intimate situations, they have ended up looking rather deeply into each others eyes. if someone i was not interested in (or at least romantically curious about) looked at me like that, i would be doing everything but meet their gaze

idk what yall are seeing in the second couple. Yeah she's insecure but that doesn't necessarily mean she needs…
i don’t really like the second couple either. primarily bc the 2nd ML seems a bit immature. she’s right to hold back, regardless of insecurity. when he confesses and says that kids don’t matter for example, it just makes him seem lost in the heat of the moment and not very emotionally mature. a lot of people will say things like that in the initial phases bc they genuinely believe it doesn’t matter, and then realize later on that it does

just me, or is ga-ram one of the few MLs that has a personality that i would acc love to have in a significant other. he’s just so playful, enthusiastic, positive, emphatic and has immense faith in people. IN SPITE OF what he went thru w his illness and the doping scandal. he’s also able to recognize his mistakes, correct them and move forward. idk, just really loved this character a lot

not yet at the final ep, but something that is bothering me is that (if I remember correctly) ga-ram is getting steroids to treat his condition? like it was prescribed to be him by a doctor? and I understand it’s important for the plot that the drugs he’s taking are considered illicit if ur an athlete, but no doc in their right mind would prescribe anadrol for an autoimmune condition, considering all the side-effects and minimal effects in actually has in treating such a condition

We can still support WOMEN without making it a gender thing.
u referred to my law degree and mocked me for being “dumb” in my comment. my comment was related to politics which u don’t really learn a lot about in law school, so a law degree would not have much to do w it.

also, why IN THE WORLD, would i prefer an innocent man die by false allegation?? where have i indicated that i prefer that? so unnecessary to put words in someone else’s mouth, and then lash out at an opinion u projected on me that i don’t have. why do u have to be so mad? i swear, it feels a lot nicer to just communicate w other people in a respectful manner even tho they’re not physically in front of u

I get that you love that woman, but she DOESN’T DESERVE to be defended, so stop defending the real criminal…
thank u for the respectful tone, i really appreciated that🫰🏼not my intention to make him look guilty. i brought it up mostly bc ppl are fighting in the comments about this constantly, in a way that acc makes me really sad. there’s a lot of misogynistic and anti-woman language from mostly other women, and that was my motivation for writing the comment. things are rarely as black and white as some of the comments here make it out to be (on both sides). i also don’t like the language used about the woman who accused him, bc she might have falsely accused him (again I have no opinion around this), but next to that there are 100 other women who see this kind of language, and decide it’s not worth it to take their rapist to court bc there is a high probability that she might be talked so horrendously about by other women. so i hope u understand where im coming from with my pov

not a hater by any means, i quite enjoy his performance in this show. also, ur right i used an unrelated topic. however, it was to show u that ur logic is not sound, but that flew right past u ig, i’ll explain, no worries🫰🏼but first i gotta say tho, u gotta do better w the insults, bc if u wanna get technical, this is politics and not law. so if u wanna call someone dumb, it’s nice to get those things right!

my comment was simply to show u that ur reasoning “u can support [insert any oppressed people] without making it about [insert the reason why that people is oppressed here] is not very sound. i don’t get the need to be so rude?
