Okay being in a relationship with the actor is ome thing, but 80% of your work (with all stories unrelated to one another) being with one dude sure is a waste. I do feel bad for some actors/actresses that have to got through 100s of kisses with different leads in one year but damn. It's a bit limiting as to what they can do with their characters.
I guess Iβm one of the few thatβs not a fan. His early works are great, but he hooks up with Mie Mie and his…
That's why I've been unable to watch anything of his. YMM vould pass for a middle schooler if they tried hard enough and he's obviously oozing grown ass man energy...it feels weird.
I'm sorry but this is weirdly put together. Things happen but I feel like nothing makes sense, names are said,…
Also, it seems nobody apart from the main leads (except maybe Meng Xiaoshan, the only name I've managed to retain) has a life. Let me explain. It seems they all only exist to pull apart or push the main leads together. The supporting cast mostly comes on screen to comment on how in love the two used to be, or comment on how they would be great if they just got back together...
I mean, if the mains were fun to watch, I'd be able to ignore it, but they're also a confusing bunch. So i turn to look at the supporting cast only to be disappointed :(
I skipped past like 40% of this drama so far, ngl.

I'm 15 episodes in and I can't tell you who the ML and the FL are related to, because they just drop in without a proper intro (everyone is bro or sis, and then everyone is a cousin, this maybe a result of the fast paced translation too). I can't tell you if the ML and FL are back together because nothing is said, then suddenly they're engaged (no proposal just mentions of him wanting to marry her).
It's almost like a collection or compilation of another drama's best moment, rather than it being an actual drama. Yet they spend the maximum of the time showcasing the ML's coolness and bomb skills (& honestly a smidge of propaganda unrelated to the main story) instead of focusing on the couple.
Nothing is said, nothing is done and yet we're on our way to a wedding y'all.
Why does the fml have 2 names? And why won't they stick to one?
Yay i figured it out at the last episode π It's because she was abandoned/lost (idk they never say) as a kid, and whoever picked her up (they also don't say) named her Mi Chuxia. Her og family name was Hua Ruoyi and if you're wondering who is Hua Ruoyu, that would be her dead twin sister who died 8 years ago (also info dumped at the end)
It was super fun! I loved ZCH and her little outbursts, she was easily the most enjoyable character in this (well tbf we only followed 4 characters + occasional drop in of the secretary). When she wasn't being a ditsy CEO, she was having hand to hand combat with he husband's "look-a-like" and honestly those were my faves πππ
This certainly was something that I haven't witnessed yet in dramaland :D The first scene with a make-out session…
The way i screamed at the opening scene!! Your husband hasn't even hit the dirt yet!!! GURLLLLL. That would be gossip for days if i were in their world.
nothing really happened, I'm convinced it was only made to have the mains kiss with some "sexy" music in the background. Unfortunately the whole "make out" sesh got a bit tiring cause it ended in seconds and it was the only thing keeping the drama afloat. Very poor understanding and portrayal of mental health but the leads are beautiful i guess.
