Oh no. I haven't watched either of those couples yet. I am hoping this will give me a good idea of which shows to watch first. I'll have to keep those two couples in mind. If I were you, I'd play twice so each couple can win one.
Poor Zhao Lu Si. This is so typical of enormous corporations. The use and abuse people and are never held accountable. It's a worldwide epidemic. The big companies have endless resources. They have media connections, legal representation, and no consideration for the person whose life they are ruining. It is all about the money for them, and poor Zhao Lu Si is left with almost no recourse. She gets blamed, shunned, and publicly degraded simply to keep this corporation's ill-conceived reputation. Anyone who dares to speak up is humiliated and "blacklisted". Evidence is dismissed. Corruption prevails. For reasons I do not understand, people tolerate this.
There is no doubting the woman's talent. She is a phenomenal actress and a truly resilient person. By all accounts, she has tried to go about this in a professional and reasonable manner. She has tried for months, and what was the result? Nothing. This is not a woman who cries wolf. She is not hysterical. She is not overreacting. KU is not and has not fulfilled their side of the agreement. KU is not responding or even attempting to resolve the issue. Even their public response is simply a pathetic attempt to placate the public. They make no mention of working to resolve the issue. At no point do they even address the actress or sympathize with her plight. They care only about their public image and refer to her as someone who needs to be left alone for her emotional well-being.
I hope Zhao Lu Si manages to succeed here where all others have failed. Maybe her popularity and fame will help people listen. If she can get the truth out, if her fans and the public rally behind her, then maybe she stands a chance. The woman isn't asking for money. She isn't looking for revenge. She just needs help with an incredibly difficult situation that this company has made even harder. What can be done? Do we inundate the company with mail or embarrassing media coverage? Can we publicly shame them into doing the right thing?
You cannot say the actress is not worth the investment. Zhao Lu Si has made them hundreds of millions in the last decade!
