Is it possible to do this by couple rather than by drama? The only problem with doing it this way is that people could be thinking of pairing within the story. Most of these dramas have multiple couples--or even a love triangle. How then do we know which couple we are rooting for? Take for example, "Miss the Dragon" or "Love Game in Eastern Fantasy". There are two major couples throughout the entire storyline. Then, there's dramas like "The Story of Kuning Palace' or "Lost You Forever" where the Female Lead dates multiple men. Are we rooting for the one she ends up with or the most popular duo?
If it makes you feel better, Viki has this rated at an 8.6/10 which is not bad. Not all episodes are up yet, but they should be soon. I am looking forward to this drama. Thank you for giving such a nice and thoughtful review. I like to read reviews to see if I would like a show, but I cannot stand reviews that just bash a story. It seems so unnecessary. Just say you didn't care for it. There's no need to be mean. I am a big fan of Liu Xue Yi's acting. I need a happy story after so many sad ones lately. I look forward to watching this one.
I hope this drama did not disappoint me, because the Novel is one of my favourite novels and I don't want the…
I completely understand. When we love a novel, it can be hard because it is so precious to us. Sometimes, it helps to think of the drama as 'fanfiction'. That way it is entirely separate from the book you love and cannot tarnish it.
