people are free to share their opinions as they watch. not everything has to wait until the end to be valid criticism or praise.

I'm a Park Bo Young fan, but I gotta admit, she's no Kim Go Eun. I'm going to wait for her character's turning…
using another actress as a benchmark isn’t criticism, it’s just fandom doing made up math

I want her & woogy to become a couple 🫢
with a criminal? not that she’s innocent, 'cause from the moment she grabbed that coffin she’s not an innocent person anymore, and i don’t know if you forgot he literally just stabbed that man like he was in a butcher shop. i’d expect you to say you hope for a good man for her.
Gurl?

ngl i’m excited for the k-drama of the namiya general store but also kinda nervous 😭the book is so special because it doesn’t really have one main character, it’s all these connected stories with so much meaning. i just hope they don’t try to center everything around one lead or force romance into it

really hoping they keep that core and don’t turn it into just another generic drama 🙏 but yeah i’m still curious to see how they do it 👀

did you take yours yet? cause they’re saying the psych ward is empty and looking for people just like you. try raising your argument next time instead of your voice

Oh come on!!Why would a person who lost her best friend like that just wander around alone? Also, do you really…
if you look at the real case the story was based on, people still went on with their normal lives even while being scared and not knowing who the killer was. but at the same time, the level of danger was real, so some choices can definitely seem questionable depending on the context.

in this episode you can really feel the director’s message you feel the pain of the people who lost loved ones to that killer, and the helplessness of not being able to do anything while he keeps taking more lives. i still think the drama is lighter than the movie though, because the movie was way more shocking, especially the part with the bodies.

just watched the first episode and i’m already hooked

you can tell it’s a slow burn thriller done right. the dual timeline (past + present) makes it feel like a puzzle slowly coming together, and the tension just keeps building like a pressure cooker. you know something big went down, you just don’t know how or why yet.as an agatha christie fan, this is totally my vibe. it’s not about constant action, it’s about the clues, the characters, and that feeling that every little detail matters.

if it keeps this up, it’s gonna be so good

too much suspense. it's killing me. the directors aren't hiding that Gi Beon is the killer tho
the director isn’t hiding anything trust me, he already showed who it is. the point isn’t really the killer, that asshole is kinda pushed to the side. the real focus is on the victims’ families and the police mistakes.
did you notice tae joo picked up the victim’s book with his bare hand? i showed that scene to my grandpa, who works in forensics, and he literally flinched 😂there’s actually a lot more to pay attention to, which is why he said the reveal won’t really shock anyone.

Is this another version of Memories of Murder?I mean, the plot is exactly like "Memories of Murder". I…
i get why it feels that way, but it’s not really another version of Memories of Murder.

they’re based on the same case, but the movie focuses on the investigation when it was still unsolved“the scarecrow” is more about what happened after the impact on people and the long road to the truth

and yeah, the movie is amazing.

i feel like a lot of people are focusing too much on “who the killer is,” but based on what’s been said about The Scarecrow, that’s not really the point. the director Park Joon woo even said there was too much focus on that in the real case, when what really mattered was why it took so long to solve. so it seems more about the context, the system failures, and the impact on people than a big identity reveal.

they won’t spent entire series in past right? since the killer in present told the ML he is not a culprit and…
i get why you’re guessing, but based on what’s been said about The Scarecrow, it’s probably not going to be that kind of “guess the killer” story.

the dir Park Joon woo made it clear the focus isn’t really on who did it, but on why the case went unsolved for so long and what was happening at the time. so even if there are present-day scenes, the point seems more about connecting past and present rather than setting up a twist reveal.

so yeah, theories are fun, but the story itself is likely more about the context and consequences than proving who the killer is.
