why do i think it’s quite normal for GP and fans to boycott a scandalous actor to prevent a buried drama or a drama with bad reputation lol… this happens everywhere, in consumerism and in life. the show will tank harder with someone who has a questionable and unclean past where the audience is majority women. it’ll even be boycotted as a entirety if not already, so what’s the point of filming 😂. i supported BJT fans for boycotting YXW who’s a murderer + predator when destined starting filming, imagine if YXW was still there, i doubt half of its viewers would even watch. i think HJJ fans often forget how terrible his reputation is in china, the drama does not revolve around an easily replaceable guest role over the entirety of the drama’s reputation.

most likely his agent or company fei bao injecting $$ for him to get a role since he couldn’t book any dramas for so long. iqiyi is notorious for supporting problematic artists as long as they are able to get some $$ from the artists’ companies. they probably have the most buried dramas out of the 4 platforms right now

his old rumors have never been cleared up or else why has he not join a new team in 440+ days. no one wants their fave to film for over 130 days just for it to never see the light because of someone’s actions. if hjj wanted a career he should’ve managed his private life better. xu kaicheng buried 2 dramas and a movie cause of his cheating scandal, hjj was already previously removed from 2+ teams before, or else why is he a guest role when he can book a ml before.
