i wish they start with that seem too bcs it shows a stark contrast between the present yunhe and the past yunhe. i really hope they keep the torture scenes tho maybe just make it less gory bcs i feel like a large chunk of the story was on that point and how it makes yunhe feels like she will never experience freedom.

just watched the trailers and teasers TT it seems like there's significant changes to the drama, i hope i wont get disappointed
