thanks for the review. i felt like the crux of the story and how ml fell for fl is bcs she protected her so eventhough she was also quite weak (due to the poison) in the novel. and the neidan was also an important aspect as well. it's a bit disappointing that they decided to throw it out the window bcs the main reason he was so tolerant of her and tried his best to make her cultivate the demonic pathways is because of the neidan, upon which, the revelation that he would not take his neidan back and her decision to forsake her life so much more impactful.

i dont think it's worth my time bcs i'll be comparing it to the novel, and being frustrated by the development .
