I can't understand some scene from last ep, did ch hv a twin sister & she nvr seen her or know about her? That…
it's not in the novel, the novel has a pretty straightforward plot. but i'd say it's her twin from context of how every prior birth in her royal family are twins
I don't think that anyone who watched this far (ep 26) can say with clear conscience that YCY is doing a bad job.…
i'd say most of the hate she got was bcs people didnt like her acting in chongzi (didnt watch it and not planning to) but she was paired with a very veteran actor, so i kinda understand how it could reduce her aura.
today's episodes felt like foreshadows to the choices that they have to make later on, bcs both of them came to realise that their responsibilities to the safety of the world triumph their personal feelings. they know they both love each other but would sacrifice themselves for the realm. i dont think they'll sacrifice the other person but will come to the conclusion that they themselves would rather perish than letting the world suffer. they know their partner would suffer bcs of their choices but the decision is bigger than just them. personally i rather have a selfish lead.
Can someone give me the detailed update about the story and the FL and ML characters?
Chu Kong- God of War, royal descendant of the Qilin clan Xiangyun- a cloud fairy in the Marriage Pavillion, also Cang Hai, the 'devil' that everyone fear would resurrect (altho from trailer, and official mvs, it doesnt seem like she's a bad guy).
their fate started 30 000 years ago, what exactly went down, as of the current episodes, we still dont know what happened. all we know is that they met, fell in love, got married (from the flashbacks we saw them in red), but on the day of their wedding something happened that led to Cang Hai being killed, and leaving Chu Kong with only half his primordial spirit and memory loss. The heavenly realm believed that she massacred people from the six realm and were killed by Chu Kong, but the flashbacks suggested that it was likely that CK didnt kill her, at least not willingly (he was grasping her cloth tightly in his hands when he was unconscious)
Can someone explain what it means when Xiang Yun got her forehead mark at the end of their 3rd tribulation?
people on Weibo said that this story might be a fate loop where this timeline where the story takes place is their last chance to break the loop, and they said maybe it's bcs they broke the loop this time around when chu kong died for her, so there's a flower showed up on her forehead (something to do with her primordial spirit returning i guess). i dont really understand much of it but the gist of it was that the huidan was a symbol of them breaking the fate loop
canghai is a girl though I think they already show her as canghai in episode 2 😊 but we still don't know how…
just a random guess based on what has been done in xianxia dramas, but xiangyun might be an incarnation or just a part of canghai (if it was her) and maybe she sent a part of her soul away and 3000 years ago, they form consciousness and became the fairy that we know as xiangyun ( or like how it was with the fl in lbfad)
For fellow novel readers - anyone else slightly disappointed that they changed up the reason why they're going…
same but it's just bcs it was the very first cnovel i read (and i reread it a few times just because) but i totally agree with you. i guess they wanted more depth to the story and the original work was a lighthearted work without much complex background. what i've noticed from the few xianxia dramas i've watched is that they love to use fate (and i guess she's somehow someone fated to him or have very bad fate with based on the flashbacks be we got at the beginning). and unknown spirit will usually get a powerful identity if they're the main lead or villain
