I am really impressed with this oneā¦As described below many times, it is pretty human and realistic⦠Human characters, portrayed in a humble, decent way by the actors/ actresses. I do not know if it was the script or the acting, but I could feel the sufficating social and personal pressure the characters went through. This show is not mind blowing but to me its pretty above avarage.
I could not stop admiring about a few things, while watching this.. Firstly, what a fitting Ost.. Secondly, after watching so many dramas, it was the first time I had doubts with whom the main character Park Sae Ro Yi is going to end up. Thirdly, the representation of Park Sae Ro Yi. For example; his expression, like nothing can surprise him anymore; repetative gestures like putting his hand on his head, when he is troubled; or his outfit, almost like a uniform sometimes with buttons, reminding me of a soldier...The story was a little bit dragging and the show could be finished with less episodes, but to me generally it was enjoyable.
I am personally into Kdrama a lot more than Taiwanese drama, and I've only watched one Taiwanese drama in the…
I am also not too much into Taiwanese Drama, but I would also recommand this one, (if you like the genre of course). You should be a little patient for the first few episodes though...But I think it was worth the patience.
basic proof of how a simple conspiracy story can turn into a psychological thriller with good acting and ost. The ost , especially background music is just amazing
When I was watching it, I thought like I should note a small warning here. You might want to avoid this one, if you have similar experience. I do not know, if it is the acting, the story or the production, but generally the portayal of post-trauma was annoyingly real.
depends on what you are looking for. Almost no romance and I would not call it melodrama. It is sort of something in between criminal drama and psych. thriller with 1980's setting. If you have watched enough dramas, you can also guess where it is leading. Well I gave it a 10, because of the setting, acting, and slice of life kind of humour.
I really do not want to offend anyone, I really liked the original but I totally loved this one more than the original...I wonder, if I have passed too much time in K-Drama world :)
While I was watching the movie the whole time I was like why is Yoo Seung Ho speaking japanese....I wonder if I am the only one like that...Very good movie by the way...Neither watched the anime nor read the manga, so I can not make comparasion.Obviously there were some disgusting and brutal scenes but somehow I really liked the plot and acting.
Someone can tell me where to watch this online? Somehow I can not manage to find anywhere :(
thank you very much. Actually about 2 months ago khjfan01 also told me that it was available in veoh. Truth is veoh used to be not available in my county but I gave it another try, and it worked :) Still I am thankful for your consideration.
ps: it was amazing :)
Wow, I did not know some of them because they alter the scripts too much. But I think nowadays there is a full adaptation of Always / Only You...I did not watch any of them, so I am not sure. But the trailer looked like they sticked with the original one.
