Thanks a lot for your concern. I do not know how the situation looks from outside, but the first two nights were terrible for all of us, since we could follow everything only on twitter, could nothing to stop it and did not know what was true or lie. The whole media was silent about the events and that was what made people more angry. For a few days the youngs (twitter using people) could not convince the elders that something was really happening.I must confess that this whole incidents interrupted my whole work/study routine, but somehow I would be ashamed to complain about it after knowing and seeing what other civils went through. To all of us, it is clear that this whole thing is a political game of the higher ups but still...Well things seem to be cooling at the moment, but somehow I still hold my breath since unlike the protesters the supporters do not seem to be peaceful at all.
But life goes on I guess, and that is probably the most suprising thing :) thanks again & take care!

this was one of those dramas I can not explain..You know the feeling, from the start you find everything ridiculous…
I heard Mars is originally japanese manga, I wonder how it is...

oh, I also did not buy Barbie's acting there, but since I am not too much into Taiwanese dramas, I thought may be this is how they act. I mean she should be a withdrawn, scared girl but she was like a humble, understanding princess. Still I watched all the episodes, even I skipped lots of scenes, I watched them. I guess I liked its shooting along with music. there was something with the shooting that it always kept you on the edge, a mysterious air.

Lastly but definitely not leastly...You have been to Japan? I have to hear more about that. Why did you go there? Was it travel or study or...? How long did you stay? and where? I think I can imagine that they stare foreigners like aliens but where they rude too? Any good bad memories? And I imagine that you went to an Arashi Concert? :P By the way they should increase the numbers of the caracters in messages. :) good night ?

From what I could understand Korea became "modern" a lot later and as you said was directly under attack of communism and capitalism, which ended them splitting.I am making these assumptions according to a drama Bridal Mask and wiki (of course :P ) By the way I never recommend anyone a Korean drama directly because it really depends on taste and other factors that we have talked before like run times etc. but Korean historical dramas give a very good slice of their history (let's say what they want to see as their history, in other words a little subjective) well if you can survive the melodrama part of course :) (I used to be against melodramas but somehow I began to get used to them, people definitly change in time :P )

But as you said they also make a drama about bullying etc. very objectively, which I admire a lot but I can not stop myself wondering if those dramas become a role model too? Can't decide... Still "Life" was amazing, but I did not know that Tumbling has something to say about homosexuality. (already added to plan to watch list, again I can not imagine such a concept being issued in a drama in my country) As you mentioned the 300 years of isolation must be one of the reasons between Korea and Japan, but I think the most effective reason for that was the arrival of modernism. As you probably know Japan opened its doors to the West about 1850's and armed itself in a very short time, becoming a complete militar country. And their teachers were German (I do not have anything against German, it is just about that time they were also a very strict militar country)

I totally agree with you about moral limits of asian people and the reaction of so called "westerners". I think you watched Ikigami, the ultimate limit. How did you find it? I mean I do not think I could even manage to explain the concept to the people in my country. After watching it I thought that japanese people have really issues with the value of life. Apparently they cherish it, but to a degree where they can even murder people for that via goverment or laws. It is somehow? I don't know, may be creepy? well I read somewhere that Japan is the country of dilemmas. I think that explains how they can be very proud and act humiliating in the same time or how they cherish life and let people to die coldheartly. You must have also noticed that especially in school dramas about bullying, one of the most used words is "Die!".

Something light? I think City Hunter is a good choice, I'd like to hear your comments after finishing it. I won't spoil it but can't stop myself to notice you that its music is very manipulative. (I guess that goes for almost all Korean dramas, their soundtracks are more planned than the Japanese, not always perfect but definitely planned.) By the way White Christmas is not scary at all, actually I did not even find it thrilling.(but some people do,can't imagine why) It is also not that deep but has psychological and moral aspects for sure. (good music though)

I am deciding to begin, with Maou this weekend, I'd like to talk about it with you. And since you said that you found White Christmas interesting, I guess I should encourage you, since it is shorter. Well in my country I do not think anyone would allow, a show like White Christmas, everybody would think that it can be a bad example for youngs etc. I really like Far-East a lot because of that. How shall I put it?It is like they have no censors, it is like they do not fear anything. Interesting people :)

Well to me I find it fascinating how different these two countries can be, even they are so close. They are sooo similar but so different. it's somehow funny. About my job I am a full time worker and a graduate student. (Well I am not sure how these things are in France.? In Turkey we have 4 years of undergradute education. When you complete that you have the licence to work but if you choose to be academicly more involved you can have graduate degree, master degree in english I guess, and later Ph.D etc. )I am a multi-tasking woman who is barely able to survive :P Actually I should have graduated before but I had to work and left my studies aside. Now I am trying to put things together. Thanks for cheers :) Actually I repeat my self, at least ten times a day, "Gambarimasu!" :)

Ah, I completely understand what you mean about Korean dramas. Even I have watched lots of them I still have the language problem. Even I do not speak Japanese somehow that language never disturbs me. Actually I feel like japanese language is more edged (may be sharp? do not know how to describe it, but love it) Korean is more rounded. Well somehow I got used to it, I even thought korean is actually a perfect language after I had to watch a Taiwenese drama. :) And the long episodes and runtimes, again totally agree with you. They are unnecesary long, and in order to become longer they also ruin the stories. Well I met a few people who are against Korean dramas (and vice versa also some who are against Japanese) that's why I wondered if you have something against them. :)

(could not finish in one :P ) I totaly agree with Quiz Show 2's ratings. It must be Sakurai effect, well it is fine with me either way. and about Maou I will put my faith in japanese people. I am sure it must be ok, because the Korean version was good but a litlle too long. Even I could see that the whole story can be wrapped in 9-10 episodes. By the way I am curious is there any specific reason for not watching korean dramas? I always prefer japanese dramas over Korean but I was a little suprised you almost have none in your list. (no critics though) well, thanks again for the recommendations :)

Hello there! about the friend request; actually I am thankful for sending. The thing is I was so flown with our conversations I was sincerely suprised. It was like; "are? (jp.)" aren't we already friends? ooh, we are not... :P
well I guess I understand what you mean about Nino. Later I remembered that I started one his dramas and even nino was good, I dropped the drama, because I got bored. Well lately my hands are full of work and my studies, I don't have much time to watch something. :( But I hope to come back to drama world even it is for a short time. :)
what's with the dark blue eye dude?
was he in anime series? don't remember him...
Do you mean Jineh? He was, but apparently they mixed his character with another one, still his fight with Kenshin is almost the same in the anime. (the scenes, not the story though)
But life goes on I guess, and that is probably the most suprising thing :) thanks again & take care!
