Title Good Boy
Still sad that this one won’t be on Netflix. I miss bogum so much and cant wait to seem him slay his role here

So excited!!! New genre for Bogum. And with sohyun. His last previous works lacks in writings but he still save those projects with his acting, so now that he gets to work with good pd and writer, everything is in place. It’s weird seeing people coming at his acting even when knetz and all experts always praise him. Anyway, happy that we finally get this pairing.

For some reason, despite bo gum's impeccable acting talent, his chemistry with most of the female leads in his…
He has great chemistry with kim yoojung and song hyekyo hahaha. The only lacking is with park sodam and I think it’s because of the writing and directing rather than from the actors themselves.

I'm not a fan of Bo Gum in the good boy roles, but will definitely watch for IU. By the way - what Bo Gum drama…
He discussed with the director on how to portray his character lmao. It’s in accordance with the characters he played 😂

Can’t wait to see bogum and iu’s tandem. Hope there wont be any love triangle (since the writer has it in both his prev dramas) and the writer will focus on the growth of gwansik and aesoon. Love triangle trope is just old and repetitive. Fighting yhdw team!!

Yeah, the hate was totally unexpected. Especially how likable the actor is in real life. My guess is that it's…
Hahhaaa it’s a trend to hare popular actor who is good looking and lovable. People are trying to be edgy and maybe they think jumping on the hate train will make them cool 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lmao i'm surprised at how basic and full of cliche this movie is. I like you, but my bff like you too so I will…
Finally someone said it 🤣

It's Jung Hwan I believe
No it’s choi taek. Bogum and hyeri got the most responsibility to promote the drama and that’s enough proof

I’m still waiting for the confirmation of this drama. And I can’t understand with the hate for bogum’s acting in the comment. He’s a great and versatile actor. He might not be the best at choosing script but his always delivers in all his project. Him and IU will make a great pair.

Title Reply 1988 Spoiler
(COMMENT CONTAINS SPOILER)

For me the appeal of Reply 1988 is not the romance, but the complex characterization and the links between them. It has a bunch of ensemble casts and none of them are one dimensional (even dongryong’s mother!). Each of every scenes are full of symbolism, nothing’s wasted here. The writer and pd are geniuses. How their mind works are mindblowing.

And for the husband, I’m team taek. And I belief taek is the originally planned husband from the start. The scripts just screams taek. From the amount of flashback, the importance of taek’s presence (everyone always talks about him one way or another), and also the dialoges between characters (like “the star always comes last”, “master choi always comes in time” etc), the baduk teory and how baduk is the main focus of this show. They gives significance to his character that the others don’t get. Even if he doesn’t get the girl, I will still think he’s the first lead because imho writer just don’t spend that much effort and energy for second lead.

But all in all, this drama is more than just the husband hunting. It’s a perfect drama in terms of writing, acting, directing, etc. Sometimes I wish I can erase this drama from my mind just so I can watch it anew again. Reply 1988 will always be the gem of kdrama. It will be the classic that will be even more loved in the future.

Can anyone tell me who is the main lead among them?
It’s choi taek. You don’t have park bogum working his ass off promoting this drama from one country to another just because he’s the second lead right?

Yeah I think they cut a lot of footage. For e.g episode 5, the water quiz, it seems like somehow team Itaewon…
Yeah I also saw many scenes got cut when it’s already been included in the preview. It kinda disappoints me cz they make me excited for nothing 🫤. Honestly pdnim should not cut scenes, variety show usually comes in 1.5 hrs per episode right? And this one not even 1 hrs long. I see knetz also complain abt the duration being too short.
On Young Actors' Retreat Oct 1, 2022
My only complaint for this show is it’s too short. Not even 1 hour long per episode. Hope pdnim won’t cut anymore scenes that’s already been included in teaser and preview

So fun to watch and reveals a lot about the actors' true personalities. They all seem to be nice people. Here…
“Pbg seems a little feminine” woah judgmental much? It’s 2022 and people still commenting on something like this? Judging one as feminine or masculine and for what? You have posted a comment before and posted again just do add this opinion? 😵‍💫

Just watch the first 2 episodes. Everything is fun. Pdnim really knows how to make a variety show. The casts are hilarious. Park bogum being the sweetest extrovert there is so endearing. I laughed at park seojoon’s moments of blankness. And ji changwook reciting his team’s name is such a meme. Can’t wait to see the more episodes next weeks!!

Review Encounter
'While cinderella finds happiness in glory, this drama shows happiness in ordinary things.' well said, my friend.…
I think it’s the biggest moral value of this drama, aside from the love conquers all. That’s why Park Bogum and Song Hyekyo chose to star in this one.
